Symbiostock’s trademarks include ‘Symbiostock’ and the ‘Hummingbird’ logo.
‘Fair Use’ of Trademarks
The Symbiostock name and Symbiostock logo may be used in distributions of Symbiostock as found on the Symbiostock website. Use of the Symbiostock name or logo is both encouraged and permitted where its purpose is to promote the Symbiostock project on websites running the Symbiostock software.
Unauthorized Use
Changing the appearance of a Symbiostock trademark or adding something to it does not warrant use of the trademark without Symbiostock’s permission. Third party software or services may not use Symbiostock trademarks without written authorization. Any product, service, website or distribution using the Symbiostock trademark that reasonably confuses a visitor as to its affiliation with Symbiostock constitutes unauthorized use.
Our goal in this document is to encourage the use of Symbiostock software and the promotion of the Symbiostock project while differentiating between the Symbiostock project and the copyrighted trademarks owned by Symbiostock. If you have any questions about ‘Fair Use’, please contact us.
