That reminds me – I’m going to need some showcase sites to show symbiostockers the improvements.
Hi Leo, you can use my site as well. I just got my live site converted over to 2.8.1. This theme is REALLY awesome. Everything on my site is customized using standard features except one thing. I removed the “content-area ss-home-main row” right under the slider. This brought the 3 CTA’s up under the slider. I edited and removed that row from the page-home0.php in the child them.

Noted!
And someone just reminded me that the padding is lacking in a few areas like the logo area and breadcrumbs.
Thanks Leo, it is really looking good. I am getting more excited about moving my live site soon.
October 16, 2013 at 5:08 am #4944Has anyone else seen this? I am using the standard generated Home Page. Same as you Leo. When I populate the Featured Images box the following is what it looks like. As you can see the 7th image populates to the right like there are images before it and then it puts the next image below starting from the left.
I can’t get it to fill the second line. I have removed them all by removing all images from the Symbiostock Featured Images category and then put them back in. Keeps doing the same thing.

Well, if 15MP and 4MB is too large for the system I might as well pack up and go home. Why did I buy a 20MP Canon 6D again? I do hope Symbiostock actually allows me to process images. Thats kind of the whole point of it. LOL. I am off to bed. I am annoyed now 😉
I just processed an image with a size of 16.9 MB at 5184 x 3456 with no issues. This was on my test site running 2.8.0. I also processed that same file on my live site running 2.6.5.

I am fully live with 2.7.7
Awesome!
Yea, I am working through the cosmetic stuff and slowly going through the functionality before I take the leap. 🙂
I only have short periods I can work on it so sometimes I have to leave it for days before I can get back to work on the site.Your site is really looking good. Love those face flags!

Is the new 2.7. The premium version or a upgrade of the 2.6
The 2.7.7 is the upgrade of the main theme from 2.6.x. Then there is the SY Professional (Premium) Plugin which is at version 1.2.3
SY Theme 2.7.7 is going through testing and bugs being worked out right now so proceed with caution. Many have only deployed it to their test sites.
October 12, 2013 at 11:20 am #4411I am leaving my main site alone at 2.6.5. It is a little bit of work but I have setup a test site using a sub-domain. The test site looked exactly like my main site. I then proceeded to work with the newer versions of Symbiostock on the test site. Until I am very comfortable with the new version, happy with the test site, and feel I am ready to take it to production I will leave my main site alone. With the test site I can make the mistakes and learn from them.
There is hope!!!
I know it is a lot of work but a test site can save your sanity 🙂
For licensing I am using the Premium Plugin on my live site and seems to be very stable with 2.6.5 from my experience.
On my test site I am running the following Plugins: (SY Theme 2.7.7)
Jetpack
SY Professional Plugin 1.2.3
SY Imagemap
SY Emails and Notifications

Yes, you put the image in the cart, and then you pick the EL, it will add to the cart. But I see what you mean now
Okay, following your steps I got it to work. After I put the image in the cart I selected the license and it worked. To me that is confusing. Before I put the image in the cart I should have to choose the size “and” license, then add the image to my cart.
Just thinking out loud here but how about have the code check to see if a license option had been chosen when you click a size. Then in the popup give the option to choose License type and then ok to add it to the cart.
Or at least require you to choose a license type before adding it to the cart.

You need to pick the image first and then the license, thats logical to me.
When I pick the image first I get the popup and it wants to put the image in my cart and will not let me choose the Standard or Extended license at that point.

Leo – have you seen my post – the confirmation works but you can no long choose any licence other than standard with this latest version
I dont have this problem, it seems to work ok for me.
I do notice it can take up to 8 seconds for a selected image to be added to the cart. Thats a bit long.
I am seeing the same thing as Christine. I choose the extended license and then the size image. It does not add the additional cost of extended and when I add it to the cart the license shows as the “default” when I clearly chose the “Extended” for purchase.

Here’s a fairly substantial update. THREE new BIG things added — 2.7.4
I know these are small issues but here is another cosmetic issue. The minipic is not centered in the box as you can see from the image.
Theme: 2.7.4
Premium Plugin: 1.2.3
PHP: 5.3.26Thanks

Leo,
When I go through the upload process everything seems to go good until I publish the image. When I click publish it takes me to a solid white screen. It seems to publish the image just fine. It just leaves me at a solid white screen.
Theme: 2.7.4
Premium Plugin: 1.2.3
PHP: 5.3.26Thanks

Leo,
Just updated and noticed the pricing, sizes, and licesnsing options look a little better but layout of the License Options look a little funky. It seems it would be appropriate for the license selection circles to be on the same line and in front maybe.
Theme: 2.7.4
Premium Plugin: 1.2.3
PHP: 5.3.26Thanks
TimOctober 11, 2013 at 2:46 am #4307I just updated my test site to 2.7.3 with Premium Plugin and Symbiostock Image Sitemap. I have not gone through all the testing yet but here is what I am running with my main site and seems to be working with the test site so far.
