Tim,
Wordfence gives you also the IP address for each attempted login. If multiple login attempts are coming from similar IP addresses, you know these are bad guys. Instead of blocking each IP address specifically, you can block entire ranges of IP addresses – small or large ranges.
yea, I have been watching that and have blocked some that are trying different usernames from the same IP or trying repeatedly “admin”.

April 3, 2014 at 6:15 pm #10791Yea, I think the largest from Dreamstime for me was $4 and something.
April 3, 2014 at 5:45 pm #10789This is kind of related to pulling images off Fotolia. I thought about what I am about to post and yes I think I might have lost my mind and had a mental breakdown but….. (this post ended up being longer than I intended, sorry) 🙂
A little history first. I started messing with Stock back in 2011 and had less than 100 images up on Fotolia, Dreamstime, Bigstock, Canstock, and 123RF. Then due to one of my children getting ill for a couple of years I set my camera down for a couple years. I just picked it back up June of 2013. I found Symbiostock on MS Group and jumped in with both feet. One caveat, I only do this part time but hope I can build this up over the next few years to continue after normal job retirement. Which ever way this industry turns.
I started to add to the agencies again to include iStock and FAA for some of my artsy stuff. Now for the mental breakdown I had. I do not do enough volume or have a portfolio that I can really compete in Microstock and I was tired on selling images for as little as $.22 cents. So I pulled all my images off of all sites except Dreamstime until I reach the six month requirement. At the end of January I started uploading all images that might be appropriate for Alamy and went RM only. Anything not appropriate for Alamy goes on my Symbiostock site. If Symbiostock takes off after a while and Alamy keeps dropping prices I might only end up with Symbiostock and a place to print stuff.
I maybe crazy and that strategy mail fail miserably but sold an Image I just got up on Alamy last month for my profit of $19.60 when the same image sold on another site a while back for $.22 cents and I do not expect to get hundreds of downloads from the image. We will see where all this goes. I guess I would rather get larger sales less often. If I had thousands of images suited for microstock it might be a different strategy though since volume of downloads kicks in at that point. I am still learning and getting my feet wet but someday when I grow up I might figure out what I want to do. 😀
So….. I may be the retarded one here 😆
March 29, 2014 at 11:50 pm #10702Sorry, then I am not sure. If there was a clickable way that would be great. I will definitely follow here and see how it is done.
March 29, 2014 at 11:02 pm #10699Not sure if you are using the home page generator but to get rid of the Author box I did the following. I am using the home page generator. This removes the middle row just under the slider and moves the three CTA’s up under the slider.
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=523&p=6048#p6048
I copied page-home0.php into my child theme directory and edited the file there.
Here is what I removed from page-home0.php: (not sure but your home page php file name might be different)

hello JoAnn 🙂
yes i think i used the Home Page Generator, BUT it shows home page is the ‘About’ page! i have changed this word to Home many times but it always reverts back to ‘About’……i dont know whyHere is my understanding of the “Home Page Generator” which I use also. Someone correct me if I am wrong here.
It generates a Home page for you. If you need to make changes you have to go back through the process of generating the home page again. Most information is repopulated such as the Call to Action boxes. But from past threads there was a request to have the “Home Page” remembered but at this time it does not as you have found. It is not saying that the “About” page is your home page, it is just a default value that is pulled from your list of possible pages. You just have to make sure each time you go through the home page generator to make changes that you choose the right Home Page.
Hope that makes sense.

Version 1.2.7March 29, 2014 at 3:46 am #10657I just checked to see if I was having a search issue but mine seems to be popping up pretty quick. I tried searches where images would be returned from my site and searches that I knew would not return an image from my site. The search seemed quick either way. Within a couple seconds.
March 22, 2014 at 7:22 pm #10379I see, I was looking at images only from iStock. $15 for exclusive and $6 for non-exclusive.
March 22, 2014 at 6:30 pm #10376Thanks for the input Michele and Jo Ann.
Yea, went back to Canstock and missed the “Instant Download” option but I went back to iStock and I only see an option to “Or add this photo to your cart to Pay As You Go for $15.00 USD”. I tried several images and seems like the $15.00 seems standard at iStock but I guess I could still be missing something.
