Example: us vs. them:
January 26, 2014 at 3:41 pm #7762I don’t like the idea of random posts from here being tweeted. That means any questions, complaints, petty arguments, glitches, bugs, etc. are potentially being sent out into the stratosphere for followers to see.
Twitter and Facebook should be used as advertising mediums to help promote the network and the sites. They should be controlled by someone (s) who is/are purposefully placing Symbiostock in a good light, posting great images, special deals, milestones, exciting news, etc.
I’ll be posting here much less now that I know anything I write can be tweeted.
January 25, 2014 at 8:28 pm #8791I know…I’ve also pointed out that already successful site owners who started the network have probably all linked to each other, sending each other traffic…while those of us who are new must work harder to generate traffic to our sites.
January 25, 2014 at 8:25 pm #8824I’m guessing it’s telling you your images have been added to the network? Probably you get the email the day after you add images. I get the email almost every day because I add images almost every day.
I never get emails about anyone updating their theme.
January 25, 2014 at 7:27 pm #8793Why not get in touch with the owners of the sites you like directly? It’s always possible they’ll find your site a better match than what they have now and will bump another site to add yours.
January 24, 2014 at 2:51 pm #8732Thanks for the ideas!
January 23, 2014 at 1:37 am #8345For some reason I’ve have to log in to this board repeatedly today, and I keep losing the ability to upload to my site and then it comes back again.
January 22, 2014 at 6:12 pm #2085Congrats! Nice-looking site…great images.
January 22, 2014 at 5:45 pm #7423Thanks! I’ve scheduled it to appear Monday.
January 22, 2014 at 3:31 pm #8334I agree. Several people (including me) have had sales that couldn’t be downloaded properly.

January 21, 2014 at 12:05 pm #2083Congrats, all!
January 20, 2014 at 7:43 pm #8636Welcome!
January 20, 2014 at 3:00 pm #8619Welcome! Nice site, beautiful images. 🙂
I think people take different approaches to networking. I’ve added a few photographers who have different specialties and vector artists whose styles are different from mine and from each others’, so buyers see a wide variety. But I think some people add others whose work is similar to theirs.
In the meantime, to help promote your site and Symbiostock:

Can someone give us some insight into the ping lists? I’ve never changed it, but that would bring organic traffic also right?
I’ve found several articles online about changing your ping list. Here’s one:
I copied and pasted the large ping list and just updated my site. In your WordPress panel, go to settings>writing and scroll down to update services, then copy and paste in this list:
