Yes, some of the sites are very slow. Might it be because they have full-sized images in their slideshows? Just a guess.
November 8, 2013 at 12:05 pm #7100That’s great. Who has an eps? Github doesn’t work for me.
November 8, 2013 at 11:59 am #7079It looks great. But i would revise the wording to “starting at $.99” because right now it sounds like every size is $.99.

http://www.symbiostock.org/topic/514/introduce-your-symbiostock-site-here-for-the-facebook-page/November 8, 2013 at 11:11 am #7097I agree that we should have one consistent logo and a set of acceptable colors. I’d love to see consistency, and I’ll place whichever logo we choose on the Facebook page. If the SS logo is sensitive, should we use the other? I’m unaware of which is most recent. (And I’d need an eps of the logo we’re using…the github link isn’t working for me.)
November 7, 2013 at 9:01 pm #6812I think it’s a great idea! The more likes the better. A Facebook like button on every Symbio site would be nice. 😉 Thank you!
November 7, 2013 at 4:27 pm #7003If you have any fonts in your work, you should convert to outlines.
November 7, 2013 at 3:29 pm #6809I added the word “stock,” but Facebook only allows a short description. (That’s why I made the first post a more detailed explanation of what Symbiostock is about.) We can certainly put up posts that invite artists to join the network and reminding buyers that they’re buying direct and supporting fair royalty art.
November 7, 2013 at 2:15 pm #6806I changed the look of the header to mesh more with Symbiostock.net. I think it’s cleaner and has more impact. Hope everyone’s OK with that.
November 7, 2013 at 2:13 pm #6805Sure! No problem.
November 6, 2013 at 12:13 pm #6803Oh, please invite people! The more the merrier!
November 6, 2013 at 2:41 am #7001Yes, there’s no way to know what version of Illustrator (or another vector program) buyers will be using, so it’s safer to save it down to version 10. I include which version I use in my description (because I was saving to version 8 until recently).
November 5, 2013 at 3:22 pm #6797Hey, you’re right! Awesome. Just liked a post as vector999.

A question of a facebook newbie. Yesterday I tried to write a nice comment on the new Symbiostock fb site but there was no avatar next to my comment. But i have a profil picture on my own fb site (same as here on the forum). Do I have to upload a second avatar/profile picture for comments? And where can I do it?
I’m pretty sure you can only comment as an individual on Facebook, not as a company. So your photo would come up if you had a personal Facebook page. My comments will come up as the Symbio logo only because I started the Symbio page.
November 5, 2013 at 1:25 pm #6883Thanks all! I’m starting with Leo’s site this morning and then will go back and start from the top.
