Hi Roganic,
I would strongly recommend you take a moment to do a test run using the instructions here:
https://www.symbiostock.org/docs/hosting-your-symbiostock-site/
Which will cost you almost nothing. If in running it here, it works, then you know it is your server environment that is causing the issue. If this is the case, unfortunately we cannot do much except give you some advice here and there because every hosting environment is unique and too hard to diagnose for our team.

Thanks for the questions.
1) Prices to categories is a WooCommerce question – there may be plugins that offer this. Although Symbiostock offers a great deal of control over pricing, we do not currently have a mechanism to bulk alter prices based on category. However, an easy way to navigate this is to add a keyword to each media you want to be priced a certain way, and then use the license filtering under each license’s page to achieve the same thing, albeit with more control.
2) All categorical data is stored within the database and the file location will have no bearing on this. Generally speaking, file tree structure is not an effective way to categorize files within WordPress as everything is driven and controlled by the database.
Thanks.

Since you do not agree, there is nothing further we can do to assist. I have authorized a refund for your purchase. At this point, we are not able to provide you free support any further, and you are welcome to submit paid support requests should you require assistance in the future.
March 17, 2021 at 4:07 am #38619Hi Richard,
In order to do this, you would need to extract the EXIF data within Symbiostock Settings (there is an option for extra EXIF variables). Once those are extracted, you would need custom code to somehow integrate that within the built in WooCommerce/WordPress search engine which goes beyond the scope of the support we can provide here.
March 17, 2021 at 4:04 am #38618Hi there – first of all, as is clearly explained everywhere, support is not guaranteed with our free plugins, and we do our best to provide support for the paid ones. They are all tested thoroughly before release, and thousands of users use all our plugins on a daily basis. That means, if you are experiencing an issue, it is likely unique to your installation.
In your specific case, we have, over the last year, provided a large amount of customized support for free. We do not respond to email support requests and perform all support on the forums. Symbiostock, like WordPress, is a DIY product and you need to test, research, and work to get your sites working the way you would like. What we guarantee is our products come in a stable and working package.
That being said, if the diagnostic works but the videos are not being parsed by the processor, you most likely have a resources issue with your host. The video plugins has been tested thoroughly and is being used by hundreds of creators right now without issue. From what I recall, your site was quite slow due to the number of plugins you had installed, so it is possible your website is overloaded and as a result it is not able to parse videos.
Aside from that, try small sized test videos to see if they work and report back here.

As the nature of WordPress and our software specifically includes being installed on a variety of different systems, the software itself works but can experience unique quirks on different systems. This is almost always either a hosting or user knowledge issue, and we simply do not have the resources to be able to provide free support on demand for the number of users we have. This is also because our main plugin, Symbiostock Pro, is 100% free and requires a lot of development time.
I do apologize about your experience, but should you want to try again, we would be happy to help you now or in the future. Good luck with your solution.
