Hi Tamas – if the original file is a vector, but you have an alternate JPEG uploaded, Symbiostock will not upscale the alternate JPEG, and the alternate JPEG will be used for all JPEG purchases. If you have a vector image and you do not have an alternate JPEG, it will then resize the final outputted JPEG as the maximum size set in the license.
So to answer your question, if you have an alternate JPEG for a vector, Symbiostock will not upscale. I have just run a test on a test site and can confirm this.
April 7, 2020 at 2:36 am #36384WooCommerce has a known bug with variations and products being muddled when it comes to stock status, and there is no clear way to easily control how it operates, so it just requires a lot of trying to reverse the “optimizations” WooCommerce devs introduce with each new version. This is why we only do updates when necessary, as the mechanisms get very unnecessarily cluttered. Nevertheless, we’ve done a lot of testing and implemented many failsafes to prevent this from happening, but if you notice any issues please let me know.

Just re-edit the license at the license level, and click the checkboxes that say “Update licenses” and “Update prices” – Symbiostock will automatically apply them systematically through the processor.
It is very possible that the licenses were manually deleted for some reason. When Symbiostock is first installed, it always creates the base licenses and sometimes when people want to customize them they can accidentally delete them thinking it’s just a name, but there are a number of settings that must be assessed first.
Very glad we were able to resolve it – if you do have a moment, the best way to thank us is to leave us a review on our WordPress page, as that allows others to get an idea of Symbiostock:

Unfortunately all of your settings are saved, including your licenses, and it would be difficult to preserve the products while resetting everything else.
This is what i would recommend. Duplicate one entire license from the test site to the main site, making sure every checkbox is identical. This is not on the product level but on the licenses tab under Symbiostock in your WP admin interface. Once you do that, let the processor do its thing, or edit and save one of your products. You should now have that license applied to your product. Do a test purchase and see if it works.

However, I was noticing that after editing and saving a product via the quick edit, it was again being tossed into being out of stock, and we had to wait for the processor to once again run an integrity check to put it as in stock again. Have now confirmed on your test site that this is no longer happening, and have released a minor update to the plugin accordingly. Thanks!
