Hi Christine,
Can you please try testing a very small video to see if it works? If it does, then it is very likely an issue with the resources on your server which are preventing larger videos from processing. The diagnostic tool for example has a video file within it – you can unzip this and upload it as a new product to see if it works.
May 19, 2020 at 5:09 pm #36706Hey Hebstreit,
Thanks for pointing this out – we moved some aspects of Symzio maintenance to a new server and one aspect of the maintenance routine was not running. We now have that running to process orders for contributor accounting tallies. All your orders were showing up, but they were not being moved into a completed state after the 45 day wait period. That’s been done and you will receive a payout shortly.
May 16, 2020 at 10:42 pm #36693Hi Paolo,
This issue has never arisen before – Symbiostock does not make any distinction about the image dimensions and this is all provided by either PHP or ImageMagick – they are the programs that determine the nature of your images. Symbiostock itself has nothing to do with it. There may be some issue with the metadata that needs to be re-written in order to inform programs that it is a vertical image, and it seems that WordPress’s media editor is not doing this properly.
May 16, 2020 at 10:39 pm #36692Hi Christine – if you ever see errors like this, you can easily open that file in a text editor such as Notepad++ and go to that line to see what it’s trying to do. I don’t recommend you make any changes yourself unless you are very familiar with PHP.
This line relates to the program used to read and write metadata to images and shouldn’t have anything to do with video processing. Are you using Symbiostock Video?
May 16, 2020 at 10:37 pm #36690Hi David – please do not create multiple threads for the same issue, thanks.
I cannot help with the front end issue – with the watermark, if you have successfully updated it, the processor will automatically update all your thumbnails transparently over time. Just make sure you have the processor working.
May 14, 2020 at 7:40 am #36678May 14, 2020 at 7:39 am #36677Hi there – the watermark must be in PNG format and be 150KB or less in file size (this is explained in the upload form in the settings). If you are following these guidelines, it should work.
Diagonal lines are only supported if you have Imagick support, so please check your system settings to ensure your hosting environment has Imagick installed.
Front end issues are generally related to your theme.

I’m not sure what you mean by license count is 0? Your interface looks totally fine. Just start uploading files using the 3 minute guide provided:
https://www.symbiostock.org/docs/3-minute-guide-to-launching-your-store/
And you should be good to go.
May 5, 2020 at 5:44 pm #36620Hi Tamas – to access the Tags editing section, just go to Symbiostock Settings and disable the “personalize interface” option. This reveals the link after refreshing the page.
Alternatively you can go to your admin section and manually put this into your URL:
edit-tags.php?taxonomy=product_tag&post_type=product
May 5, 2020 at 5:41 pm #36618Hi Tamas – this is just the way WordPress works. When you add any image to WordPress, whether it be through Symbiostock or just an individual post, WordPress creates a large number of thumbnailed versions of that same image. You might be able to get plugins that change this, but I would recommend against it.
Usually hosts don’t care how many files you have, only the amount of space you occupy, so this is rarely an issue.
May 4, 2020 at 12:37 am #36605May 4, 2020 at 12:14 am #36604Hi David – we have not received any support requests from you – can you share how you went about sending us one?
As for the invalid license error, some customers are reporting seeing this – we will look into it and get back to you. Until then, please do not worry as the plugin will continue to function even with that error, it is just that updates will not work yet.
Stand by.
