Hey guys – we’ve now released a premium plugin that allows you to import metadata to your Symbiostock store products in bulk:

Hi Greg – to do it the safest way possible, we recommend creating a backup of your wordpress database, then deleting the entire WooCommerce plugin folder, and then letting Symbiostock re-install WooCommerce for you. This should, in most cases, work.

Hi Richard – this is dependent on the theme you are using. Express doesn’t currently support that, but we will look into that feature for the future possibly. Thanks!

Glad you were able to solve it Greg!

    Hi Richard,

Unfortunately, this is the way WooCommerce works and isn’t a function of Symbiostock. Individual files are provided their own unique download link and that is when Symbiostock takes over. You can use Symbiostock Anytype if you want to create singular image packs that may include a variety of different formats (RAW, JPEG, etc).

    Hi Juha,

As this is a front end question, you would have to research this. Symbiostock Express does not provide for a masonry style gallery, but it is very possible there are themes or even a special page you can add that will provide a masonry style list to your store.

I took a brief look and couldn’t find a clear solution.

    Hi Juha,

Thanks for the question, and you are absolutely allowed to do whatever you feel is best to promote your work and business, including licensing free images if you so wish. 🙂

As for the checkout system – the reason you cannot skip the checkout system with Symbiostock is that orders must be placed into a processing queue so that customer images can be processed by the processor to resize and package based on their chosen license. There is no way to circumvent this as the entire Symbiostock system is based on this.

However, I would suggest you embrace this requirement rather than try to sidestep it as if people want to download your images, it is a good idea to collect their contact information as a bare minimum so that in the future, if they opt in, you are able to promote your paid images to them.

Ah very good – thank you for letting us know. In English he has said that the host changed the PHP version without informing. Once moving it back to 7.2 everything started functioning again.

Oh so it was working but now it doesn’t?

That is very strange. Can you fully delete all the products that did not process (trash and delete) and then ensure the upload folder is empty, then try the random image from the Web again.

If that does not work then your host has changed something and you should contact them. The youtube thing should not be an issue.

Hi there – that appears to be an imagick issue with the image. Can you please download a random jpeg off the Web and test that?

Also please ensure your processor is running every minute.

Issue was resolved by ensuring the processor is running once a minute. It does not process all previews and thumbnails in one pass.

What I mean is, did you choose plesk when you created your lightsail instance or WordPress?

You definitely should not run it this way. You should runit through your control panel system. This way you are relying on both WordPress and the processor to run at the same time and this may result in unforeseen issues.

A simple way to see if your system is able to parse images is to turn off all automatic processor calls and run the processor manually after uploading an image.

Thank you for all that. Can you please PM me your login information and url? I will take a look. We have tested video with aws and it works so it should work for you.

Also are you running off plesk in aws?
