So, in answer to your question, firstly we cannot publicize anyone else’s website, but you can see if anyone pipes in, and secondly, even if they were, it is unlikely you would be able to tell from the front end as it would look like any other store but it would likely have a vendor name attached to the media as the only unique addition.

    Hi Tony,

Symbiostock Vendors works only in the backend – it is seamless in the front end. However, when integrated with WooCommerce Product Vendors (which is included with every purchase of Symbiostock Vendors) you can see some of the backend functionality:

Hi Don – you do not need Imagick installed to function, but you do need a cron job. As I said, you cannot run it manually realistically. You do not manually have to change the order status or anything once the order is paid – Symbiostock does the rest via a cron job.

I cannot instruct you on doing it on Direct Admin, but it is definitely possible. However, an alternative is to get a free external service to trigger your processor, such as https://cron-job.org/en/

    Hi Tobias,

It looks based on those errors that somehow the GPS data is not being correctly extracted by Symbiostock. We have not made any changes to that specific aspect of the processor for a very long time.

Please check your Symbiostock Settings Status page to ensure that you can read metadata, check to ensure that the exec command is enabled, and further, please check to ensure in your Symbiostock settings that the alternate metadata reading option is not enabled. Please report back once you’ve checked those two things.

If the alternate metadata reading is enabled, please disable this and try again. If exec commands are not enabled, then you will likely have issues getting GPS data out of images and you must change your PHP settings so that it works. You should also check to ensure the exiftool folder and file in your Symbiostock folder exists and is readable by your PHP executable.

Report back and let us know.

Hi there – you should not have warnings enabled on your site. Please disable error reporting and let us know if you continue to experience issues.

Thank you for sharing your solution, and glad it got rectified. 🙂 Every server is different, so sometimes a bit of tinkering gets it done.

Hi Don- if you do not have the processor working, nothing will work. Just fix that first. A cron job in Directadmin should be relatively straight forward. Can you advise the problem you are encountering in that regard?

Hi Tamas – I believe it is ss_trans.png in the symbiostock/assets directory. Mind you, any upgrades of the plugin will override this, so keep a backup and you will have to replace it each time unless you do some manual coding.

    Hi David,

This appears to be a theme issue, and the images in question don’t seem to be sourced from Symbiostock.

Hi Tony – the subscription idea is something that actually has nothing to do with Symbiostock as this is a WooCommerce function. Basically, Symbiostock deals with the backend when it comes to delivering and adding media, but the transactional stuff is all WooCommerce. So if you can find a subscription plugin that works with WooCommerce, Symbiostock will work fine. I would recommend looking around for one for WooCommerce specifically.

Hey cs – I just tried it in Google Sheets and Excel and they both worked fine – it was separated into columns as expected. This was on a Windows PC.

Perhaps try to copy the text and save it into a text file first, then import into your spreadsheet as a tab delimited file. It is possible your browser is not transferring the text properly to the spreadsheet software.

And thank you – Symbiostock was developed with the sole purpose of encouraging contributors to free themselves from the yoke of huge agencies that keep a majority of the profits of their work. We need to work together to promote the movements towards autonomy – that means link to your fellow contributors, promote Symbiostock, join Symzio.

We don’t have the marketing dollars large companies do because Symbiostock Pro, as it is, is and will always be free. Premium plugin fees help subsidize development, but that’s about it. We need the community to market us to keep getting more and more people involved.

Hi Elroce – do you mean with regards to Symbiostock Video? There is an autoplay option but not yet a mouse hover autoplay option. We will look into this as well as a possibility, thanks.

Hi Tony – yes, now vendors is fully compatible with the included WooCommerce Product Vendors (free with your Symbiostock Vendors purchase) so you can use both plugins to fully manage your contributor earnings. You can find out more here:
