Good to know 🙂 Do you want to share what the problem was?

You should be able to generate jQuery code that checks for any label that says “License” within the “variations_form cart” form and update that to whatever you want. Look up jQuery and you should be able to create something that works. Post it here if it doesn’t and we can help debug it for you.

Hi there – it could be the CRON job (processor) does not have the resources to finish or is taking a long time to finish. We’ll look into the cURL and get back to you.

Hi there – what I am suggesting is this – rather than try to debug what is going on with you current site, create a subdirectory and install a new fresh WordPress install there along with Symbiostock pro. Then follow the 3 minute guide that we have linked at the top of your new WordPress admin section and see if everything works there. If so, then it will be easier to make it work with your current site.

Hi there – we will look into this and get back to you, thanks. Usually WordPress updates do not cause issue, however PHP versions need to generally be tested first. There is no need to upgrade PHP in most cases as it has almost no effect on functionality or speed.

Hi Paolo – it is Symbiostock via PHP, but Symbiostock does not arbitrate the CHMOD of the files. So somehow PHP generating files on your NGINX server is causing issues.

Hi Dirk – no, you do not create a thousand licenses.

AnyType adds the ability to create a non-image license. So when you add a new license or edit an old one, you can add an AnyType postfix at the bottom of the license edit page. When you do this, Symbiostock no longer resizes the original media for delivery if a customer buys it – instead, it will look for that filename in the media directory and deliver that to the customer. If the file does not exist, then the license will be disabled automatically and users will not be able to buy it.

So, let’s say you want to add the ability for customers to buy RAW files for your images. Once you upload the images and they are in your store, you can then systematically upload the RAW file with the right filename to your media directory, and assuming the license has been setup correctly, it will then allow customers to purchase that RAW file at a price that you set.

You can do so for ZIP files too. The key here is that AnyType allows you to add a license, just like “Small JPEG” to your whole store, and it will appear along with the image licenses on each product page, but will not be a resized version of the image or vector – it will be a custom file, like a ZIP or RAW or whatever of your choosing.

Hi there – we will look into this, but rest assured it has nothing to do with the processor. If it is the front-product page, and it is not reproduce-able, it is very possible that this error is happening during some background service that has nothing to do with Symbiostock.

Hi there – if you are using Symbiostock Pro, please do a fresh install on a test server and follow our 3 minute guide:

    https://www.symbiostock.org/docs/3-minute-guide-to-launching-your-store/

Then, from there, let us know what customizations you are trying to do that aren’t working.

Hi there – this is an odd issue. Linux permissions are usually not a problem. Can you please contact your host regarding this? On fresh installs where we have run tests, this does not pose an issue, so it is unlikely a software problem.

Well, Symbiostock is based on WooCommerce as it is the most popular free ecommerce platform on the planet, so there are a lot of themes that you can find developed specifically for it. This gives you a Symbiostock site with any look and feel you want.

Hi there – are you manually uploading the ZIP file to the correct directory with the correct filename, or are you adding it as a new file in your upload directory? AnyType files are not managed the same way as normal images.

Hi Roman – yes, that is correct, but as I said previously, if you have images on your website and do not wish to create separate related products, you must use AnyType. This is useful if you want to create a ZIP file or a RAW file that you add as another license on the same image. In essence, AnyType allows you to add non-image files as a licensed product to be sold along with your images.

Hi there – yes, this is all accomplished using Symbiostock Vendors. You can find it in the store. It works in conjunction with Woocommerce product vendors for maximum functionality.

You can store multiple files in one zip file, but WooCommerce does not support multiple files per product download.
