Do you think we should include the disabling of the core auto updates in Symbiostock by default to rectify this potential problem? And provide an option allowing for contributors to enable it through the settings?
Yes, absolutely.
January 9, 2016 at 8:54 am #25382Very nice. Now to update all release statuses.
January 9, 2016 at 7:10 am #25381I’ll give it a try and will let you know.
January 9, 2016 at 7:04 am #25379I have more clips on the hard drive and I’m happy to get a chance to include them if I/we can get it properly displayed on my site.
Here’s one more related question. When editing a product there’s an option called “Catalog visibility”. Do you know what happens when I choose “Hide”? Will Symzio still be able to catch it even though I don’t show it on my site?
That might be a short term solution to the display problem.January 9, 2016 at 6:17 am #25376I’m replacing those 12fps clips. Sorry about that, still don’t know how it happened but then again, I’m not handling video very often.
January 9, 2016 at 4:10 am #25375Submitted an article about Symzio to PRBuzz.com, a press release distribution service.

January 9, 2016 at 1:01 am #25372Yeah, I noticed that it’s only 12fps. I have no idea how I did this. I used to think I’ve recorded at 30/60 fps. Will look into this.
January 8, 2016 at 9:22 pm #25365Well, the theme developer wasn’t really helpful. He tried publishing video on their clean installation and let me know that it worked. For now I’ve stopped uploading video because I don’t know where to look for the issue anymore. If you have any ideas or can give any tips, that’s always appreciated.
January 8, 2016 at 12:01 am #25356I tried finding an interfering plugin by disabling/enabling without success. Then I swapped the theme to the 2015 WP standard and that actually worked. So I’m in contact with the developer of my theme now to see if there’s anything we can do. Would be a shame if I had to drop video entirely.
January 7, 2016 at 5:40 am #25348Another question. I’ve published the video clip but the product preview only shows the play button, no background image.
Here’s what I’m talking about: http://picturebreeze.com/stock/photos/image/steaks-grilling-on-bbq-grate/ .
January 7, 2016 at 5:12 am #25347Ah ok, thanks.
January 5, 2016 at 4:39 am #25306I’m not sure I understand your request. You have migrated already but you’re not sure if it works?
If it does work then everything should be fine.BTW, if changing the German web host is an option, I’ve been with all-inkl.com for many many years and I’ve never run into any problems. Symbiostock worked from day one like a charm.
January 3, 2016 at 2:06 pm #25263Steve, how can you sell an image or whatever under RF (unlimited number of uses) when you don’t have authorization to do so by the people or property owners displayed on your image?
January 3, 2016 at 1:05 pm #25261Good point by Steve. I’ll adjust my license text accordingly.
I still don’t understand how an image without releases can be sold as RF, even when marked as Editorial, but that’s another topic.January 3, 2016 at 2:59 am #25235I guess you need to use the ‘product search’, not the regular text search.
