If I remember well you should press and hold the Control (Ctrl) key while you click the mouse button.
Aha! Good suggestion. I’ve never tried that, but it sounds like it might work. I’ll give it a try and see if it works. 🙂

Maybe you need to download from your site the watermarked image first by using your mouse right button and then upload it from your computer to twitter…
Thanks again, peresanz. That sounds like it would work. I’m not sure.
I’m a Mac/Apple user (since 1981, if you can believe it), and neither my mouse nor my trackpad has ever had “right click” capability (at least not that I know of).
Several times before, on this forum, somebody has advised to “simply right click”, and I never know how to carry out those instructions.
Is there another Mac user here who has figured out how to “right click” on a one-button Mac mouse?

I have not tried yet, but that was addressed by Leo here:
Thanks for your response! Yes, I looked at that page earlier. Here’s what it says (red emphasis mine):
Open up your Twitter Account (set one up if you do not have one).
Choose a few of your *best* images you wish to promote. 3 or 4 to start. (Use the watermarked ones from your site)
Determine a short, interesting phrase to accompany each image. It can be descriptive, catchy, cute, funny… use your instincts 🙂
Upload the image, and post a link to the page where it can be purchased.
Add #RETWEET #SYMBIOSTOCK, and the target hastags you’ve selected (example: #PEOPLE, #ANIMALS, #DESIGN)
Post the tweet.I couldn’t figure out how to “use a watermarked image from your site”.
When I uploaded an image from my files (not my SYS site), it did show up in the tweet but not as a watermarked image, so I deleted that tweet.
I’m sure there’s a way to upload a watermarked image from my website, as Leo says, but I don’t know how to do that so it shows the image, rather than just the link to my page. What am I missing?
February 22, 2014 at 11:03 am #9971So… I’ve now tweeted two of my images (a coyote and a jackrabbit), but they show up only as links back to my site. That’s great, but I’d like to have the actual image show in the tweet.
How do I make that happen?

February 20, 2014 at 8:52 pm #9178I just upgraded to version 3.3.2, then toggled back to Clean Theme 2, which I’m still holding on to. All’s well.
Now I have to go into the files and switch back from 12 “similars” to 6, and also move the “date updated” to under the image (and reedit to “date uploaded”). Fortunately, I saved my notes on that when I did it the last time, so it should be easy to do.
One thing I especially like (of what I’ve discovered so far) is that I can rename “Bloggee” to “Blog Size,” which sounds better to me. I’m sure I’ll find other improvements as I work through it.
Thanks for the upgrade, Leo. It works and looks great!
Now, I can hardly wait to see my own SYS ID! 🙂
February 18, 2014 at 9:51 am #9839Leo, here’s some wise advice on how to help “orphan” baby birds:

There should be no problem. This version only has a few branding changes (icons, default avatars, etc) it won’t effect you much.
OK. I’ll give it a try. Thanks!
February 17, 2014 at 9:33 pm #9790Leo, I have a question about this before I update. Will the “Clean Theme” that you revised several months still work with this new version of the main SYS theme?
Thanks for your ongoing work on this project… for your answer to my question!

February 15, 2014 at 11:58 pm #2125So happy for you, Simi! Great shot. Many more sales will follow, I’m sure.

But Akismet is something you’d have to pay for, isn’t it?
Yes. It’s $5 per month, but if you have it on one site you can use it on other sites you own at no extra charge. That’s helpful if you run more than one site, as I do.

Isn’t it crazy what people will buy. A christmas design in February…
Hey, I don’t see that as a Christmas design. I see a Valentine’s Day design! Look at it:
red and white (not red and green)
red and white hearts that look like Hershey’s chocolate (not Santa Claus and Reindeer or a Snowman, etc)
The image would be better labeled as a Valentine’s Day gift.
PS… Congrats on the sale!

Beneath each image on an image page e.g.: http://thpstockphotos.com/image/color-pencils/ in the Author section it says “Image updated…” and the date of the image being uploaded
Should it be that way? Or should it actually be what it says – when the image was last updated, not uploaded.
I had the same problem with that wording earlier on, so several months ago changed it on my site to say “image uploaded”, “not image updated.” I like it much better that way.
