I just did as you said and created a new category All Images, went to the standard editor, put screen options on 300 and edited 6 pages, added all images to All Categories, went to batch editor and was able to select all images at once. Also in chronological order.
I would LOVE to be able to batch edit all my images at once, Ron, so I tried following your steps.
OK in creating a new All Images category. But from there you lost me. Sorry to be dense! 🙁
Can you explain about “the standard editor” where you “put screen options on 300…” ? Where is the standard editor? How do you “put screen options” on images there?
Thanks in advance.

http://mysymsite.com/wpadmin brings up a login page, but it’s not well formatted
Thanks for that, Steve. Yes, I guess that’s the only way we can point people to a spot to login or register.
So I guess this link is the best one to my registration form: http://bestnaturestock.com/wp-login.php?action=register
Your help is much appreciated!
March 11, 2014 at 3:29 pm #9119I also found this blog post very helpful. Thanks, Michele, for providing that link!
My home page now reflects two things I learned and could implement with a few keystrokes.
1. I already had lots of white space, but I’ve popped in some orange to complement the dominant blue.
2. I added a typographic arrow in orange to add additional pop.
Already it looks like an improvement to my eyes, so that makes me happy.
EDITED: One question for somebody who might know: Do we have a direct link to our Register/Login page (other than the link at the top of the page)? I’d like to provide within the body of the text either a text or graphic link to that page but don’t know what the actual link URL is. Advice please, somebody, if you know.
Thanks!March 8, 2014 at 3:37 pm #10221For sure, I won’t be getting into the photo-embedding business.
March 7, 2014 at 3:51 pm #2168Sooooo happy to hear continuing good sales news from Symbiostockers. Congrats, ya’ll!
March 4, 2014 at 9:50 pm #2157Nice shot, Steve, and mega-congrats on the sale.
It’s happening, folks. We just gotta keep on uploading and promoting.
March 4, 2014 at 7:15 pm #2155Hooray for both Redneck and Swoldham!

cascoly comes from ‘cascades’ and ‘olympics’ – the 2 mtn ranges we see from seattle
Wow! I’ve often wondered what “Cascoly” meant and where you came up with it. Nice to find out, at long last.
Thanks, Steve, for the interesting insight!
February 26, 2014 at 11:51 pm #10085THANKS! We need this forum open and alive.
February 23, 2014 at 10:00 pm #9281Well, folks, today I read this article on the drawbacks of sliders or “carousels”:
https://managewp.com/slider-alternatives?utm_source=mwp_notif&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=mwp_notifAnd after reading that, plus the included links, i removed from my home page the slider that I worked so hard to develop a few months back and really loved.
The upside is that I have now given it a title (as Leo suggested at the start of this thread) and enough text to bring it into the yellow-green SEO area, per Yoast. No more brown Yoast for me!
No doubt, the Google bots will dance and shout when they get a load of this. 😉
So, in case anybody’s curious, here’s my slider-free-but-yellow/green-on-Yoast home page sporting an actual title: http://bestnaturestock.com/
UPDATE ON FEB 26: Over the last few days, I’ve fiddled with the page until I’m quite happy with it. To replace the slider, I’ve inserted an image, which I can easily change every day or two. So… both SEO and a big, bright image on the home page. The best of both worlds!

Martha – you seem to have “protected tweets” I cannot retweet your tweets, I PM’s you via twit as well but not sure if you will spot it
Thanks, Christine and Perezsanz. I realized that “lock” on my Twitter page meant something, so I went into the settings and switched out of “protected.” It should work now.
Thanks for trying to RT and for letting me know it wasn’t working!
February 22, 2014 at 12:16 pm #9979Hey, YES! It worked!!! Wow, you can learn something every single day. Thanks so much, Perezsanz.
And you too, Shelma. I’ll try the drag-to-the-desktop approach next time.
My favorite Black-tailed Jackrabbit image now appears in my tweet. You can see it here:
