Try again if you can. Clicking the links you just posted it seems they work fine. If you get any errors simply delete the ones that don’t go through (or correct the errors if its in your ability)
Interesting error on the feedburner one. I might have to add the Image Feed to the top of the header.
I tried a few times, tried researching for some solutions to no avail and tried changing “sitemap.xml” to “sitemap_index.xml” and got the same error messages each time. So far it is proving to be beyond my ability to correct (although I’m not surprised given my limited expertise in this area)
I guess I’ll just pull the ones that are not working while I continue to search for solutions.
February 18, 2014 at 3:04 am #9683Thanks Steve – it’s reassuring to know that I didn’t muck something up and that things appear relatively normal.
February 17, 2014 at 3:59 am #9813I set up my Ping List following the tutorial and did a find and replace to enter in my site in place of the “your domain” info. Some were successful but I got different error messages on others, as noted below. How do I correct these, especially since it seems that there were different issues with different sites?
Editing to add: I notice that other ping lists just list the site to be pinged and do not have individual site extensions with direction to sites or sitemaps. I’m guessing Leo added that for additional SEO and wondered if I need to change something else in those extensions.

February 15, 2014 at 6:19 pm #2123Congrats!!! He’s a cute one 😀
February 15, 2014 at 3:54 pm #2121Congrats! It’s nice to see some multiples starting to appear. Be sure to update your vote in the poll if this pushes you into a higher level. I’ve noticed the numbers are starting to grow.
February 15, 2014 at 4:49 am #9666I think your reasoning is solid and a re-branding could be beneficial. Good idea to do it now rather than later.
February 15, 2014 at 3:34 am #9655I’ll give it a shot. I’ve been bothered by slow loads on my site.
January 31, 2014 at 12:30 am #9069Good job Leo! Glad to hear you were able to retrieve the history for Ron’s posts.
January 29, 2014 at 2:54 am #8907Thank you Dennis, for the informative and encouraging post. I see a few areas I can improve although it’s clear to me that a good part of your success is the type of artwork you offer which is very appealing to the general consumer. I can picture local teams and individual fans having use and desire for your images. And I say that with admiration for your unique images the way you’ve been able to leverage your product and link your multiple sites.
By the way, there was some discussion of incoming links and I see you have 99 and I have 111 according to Alexa stats but my sales sure don’t rival yours so incoming links may not be much of a measure of sales success.
I’d love to see my poll stats start growing as your generous sharing of SEO advice helps all of us start climbing to higher levels. The poll was made with the option to change one’s vote for that reason, so we could track the changes as we all started to get more sales.
January 28, 2014 at 4:37 am #8876Jo Ann pretty much summed up my thoughts regarding the long haul and dialing back a bit. I was getting discouraged then scanned my e-mail late one night to see my first sale and it was for $20 – got rather pumped up over that. It made me realize that the sales can come any time and without warning.
It’s been my intention to revamp my site a bit and then promote it more (including a request for site of the week) but some family health issues have me sidetracked right now. I think your FB efforts are valuable and I’d hate to see them fade away. I’ll make more of an effort to comment as I didn’t realize that FB rewarded that so much. If you do drop out I hope you’ll pass the FB torch on to someone else to manage it and keep things going.
You’ve done the work on your site already too so unless it’s up for renewals that will add more cost it seems it might be worth letting it coast for awhile to see what comes to pass while you focus on other projects and directions and get your energy back.

Regarding the TWITTER feed: I’d love to open up or utilize ONE existing forum here, where people can make special, targeted posts made for the twitter feed
That sounds good to me – create one forum especially for Twittering then we can post random stuff in it that we specifically do not mind sharing
You read my mind, I was thinking the same thing – one forum targeting positive news to get out. Make it clear what the purpose is, ie: Public News Forum or something of that nature.
January 26, 2014 at 4:48 pm #7774I agree with that too. It’s still early in Hawaii but hopefully Leo can chime in soon and clarify what’s going on an make some changes to keep the social network focus on a positive note.
January 26, 2014 at 3:28 pm #7761I’m not seeing that, only a couple of tweets every seven or eight hours but it does seem pretty random. I don’t see the benefit of posting problems on twitter. We would be better off tweeting the successes. I did notice for the first time that the forum posts have several sharing options with each thread.
January 25, 2014 at 5:34 am #8042Bumping for Leo -this was reported earlier and ties in to the post tonight about someone else no longer being indexed on AJT’s search site. The other poster indicated they had been on before and dropped off to so something may be buggy about this

Should improve the poll ratings on MSG next month when we put up January sales 😀
I hadn’t thought of that, but mine was a $20 sale so it will track above a lot of my low (or no) earners.
