Thanks a lot for sharing this, Dennis. Very much appreciated!
January 28, 2014 at 7:01 pm #8870Michele, please count me among those who would really regret to see you go. I think cidepix is right, symbiostock will be a marathon or perhaps even a series of marathons. So I think it’s the right idea to take a break from time to time and recover.
January 22, 2014 at 11:37 am #8331Happy to see you working on the list, Leo. Good luck 🙂

Amen.
To be honest, I suspect suggestions that we’re about to toss out everything we’ve spent so much effort building and charge off in a new direction (no matter how new and sexy, technology-wise) are harmful to the network. They certainly can’t be very encouraging to those either just starting out or still thinking about it.
I agree, Martha. It’s discouraging for those who think about joining the network and for those who have already invested months of work …
Leo, I hope those words aren’t discouraging for you, but I think it’s good for you to see what happens in our heads ( or hearts 🙂 )January 20, 2014 at 11:11 am #8498Coming back from my weekend, I was a bit shocked by your announcement, Leo. But I’m glad you listened to the community 🙂 . Like most others I would really appreciate to see the current system been finished before we start something new. A bit of bug-fixing, some optional features (like the extended registration for European users) and attracting buyers is what seems to be most important at this moment.
January 9, 2014 at 12:08 pm #8020No answer yet … it’s somehow slow here.
Sorry I can’t answer you question as I want to wait for the next update … I just wanted to bring some live in here 🙂December 27, 2013 at 11:15 am #7785The new forum looks great 🙂
But not all threads were transfered to the new forum, right?
I can’t find the “Merry Christmas” thread here in “General” and I don’t see the thread concerning version 3.0 in “Development”.Edit: And my avatar is gone.
November 17, 2013 at 11:17 am #2046Great to hear and congrats from me.
November 16, 2013 at 10:38 pm #7051Success. Thanks again Jo Ann 🙂
November 16, 2013 at 10:03 pm #7591Do you mean using a Plugin like WP Super Cache? Would be great to hear how we could set it up without problems. Are there options to avoid caching the customer page and are there other pages which should be excluded from caching?
November 16, 2013 at 1:02 pm #7589Thanks a lot for this very detailed answer. Reducing the physical size of the slide show is something I can do. (Although I’m not sure whether this is the reason as all sites are slow not only my homepage with the slide show).
But I have no idea how I could speed up WordFence or the social media plugin.
I tend to assume that it’s bluehost. Would be interesting to hear where others are hosted and what their speed experience is
.November 16, 2013 at 11:43 am #1353Although it’s still work in progress, your site already looks nice … great logo, too.
Welcome on board 🙂
JochenNovember 16, 2013 at 10:14 am #7651I also see this lag when changing between standard and extended license … it needs really long till the higher price for the extended license is shown to the customer.
November 16, 2013 at 9:09 am #7648Puuh … updated without problems (at least I haven’t discovered some yet 😉 )
But I would appreciate some help with licenses: I find my old licenses under Quick Licenses, where I can’t edit them. When I go to License pages I can’t find my licenses I allready had. What’s the way to go?
November 16, 2013 at 8:15 am #7647Great … so I’ll dare to update now 🙂
