Oh the individual categories themselves Ok… Go to Stock Images > Image Categories and it will list all of them. Then you can edit and rename them.
If you think it is important then change the “Slug” part too. It forms the url link I think you want to change.

October 15, 2013 at 12:50 am #4789If you are talking about in the menus then just go to > Apearance > Menus. Load the menu you want to edit by pressing the select button. Then open up the Image Categories and rename it in the “Navigational Label”.

If you want to cheat the system, and it matters THAT much – you could try this:

Upload a size the system can handle.
[/*]

Modify the product ONLY the large (original size) is available.
[/*]

Copy the image number.
[/*]

Paste it as the filename of the original and upload it to the symbiostock_rf folder (top level)
[/*]
The only sad thing is that the pixel dimensions will reflect the smaller size.
I don’t want to hog this thread so if there is info on this elsewhere please point. Without cheating what are the limits etc.?
October 14, 2013 at 9:53 pm #4839Oh this will affect me shortly as I also have some to upload in the future. Some are too large I’m sure but is there a max size? I assume that 40megapixels would be too big but Panoramas are never small in size. Is the limitation on dimensions or file size?

October 14, 2013 at 9:26 pm #4806Yip! All fixed now. It’s my pleasure. I love beautiful photos of places I’ve never been to 🙂

October 14, 2013 at 9:22 pm #4801Well I thought $2.50 was ok for the tiny file but Paypal will take 30c plus commision. Round number I’m down to $2! No one’s bought anything so no one will notice.

October 14, 2013 at 9:10 pm #4818You should be able to change that if you go to the menu Apearance > Cutomise > Symbiostock Image Page.
Change all the colours there as you would like. Mine are all in shades of pale wheat/grey colour.

If you want the whole page black you will have to change the rest under Symbiostock General.

October 14, 2013 at 8:59 pm #4761Christine… they were working a little while ago! I think still today. I even replied that I got the pull down menus but now they have turned into static links.

I wouldn’t trust that lot either! They drive a hearse for Pete Sake! 😀
October 14, 2013 at 8:50 pm #4804I enjoyed that article! Beautiful photos. The colours are really amazing as we don’t really get those fall colours in our African Autumn.
I tried your first link but it reports an error. Check the link because the VISIBLE link when cut and pasted into the browser loads, namely http://www.advantica.com/stockphotos

Edit: adding a / onto the end works.
October 14, 2013 at 8:42 pm #4633… short attention me 😀

You can set your account to only accept one currency? Do you know where that control is? Nice to have the option to tell the buyer to pay the fees (to protect your bottom line).
Diana
I know you can set it under the Symbio settings where you can set the Paypal to live/Sandbox but it’s only 5 basic currencies. US/Canadian $. UK £, Yen, and Euro.
I think the fees are not currency based but cross border based. So for me, 99% chance it will be foreign to South African soil hehe.
What I am thinking now is that with the charges it really eats away at the smallest file size sale. I think I might notch it up 50c US LOL!

October 14, 2013 at 7:27 pm #4811Thanks very much!!! 😀 I tried the sandbox earlier and just gave it up as a joke. This makes it much easier to understand but Paypal just gave me a whole lot of hiccups. Finally I got it to work, I received the email, the download link, AND it downloaded hehe
I just want to let you know you need to modify your link. It’s missing the :
It should be…
https://developer.paypal.com/webapps/developer/applications/accounts
Thanks again this will help all of us achieve some peace of mind 🙂
Jo
Edit: It annoys me that in a sandbox mode PayPal required a REAL credit card number!
