Don’t mind at all. Just change the links (contact me and my licenses) and the how to credit the copyright 🙂
November 4, 2013 at 6:00 pm #6829November 4, 2013 at 5:04 pm #6863That looks wonderful. Thanks for posting.
When the licensing stuff and batch editor get their next round of improvements / fixes (so I can apply licenses to all my images) I’m definitely going to add a table similar to yours – it’s a very easy way to grasp what’s what.
November 4, 2013 at 4:58 pm #6858You have some lovely work 🙂
Regarding the sites, when I go to photocreo, the first view is all text – an odd thing for a visual artist, IMO. Minimalistic could mean picking just one lovely image to fill the page, but as you’re not a writer, I think filling the page with words is possibly not the best way to introduce yourself.
I link to my FAA site from my Symbiostock site, so I do think that makes sense to connect the two.
As far as the symbiostock site, there is some odd wording (I find the “dear visitor” greeting a little jarring, but perhaps that’s just me :)) and some odd titles for images – for example one I found said “Spring field with flowers and blue sky Colorful buttefly spring field Royalty Free Image by Photocreo Michal Bednarek” and this one appears not to have had any metadata, so it has default title, description and keywords – meaning your lovely image will never be found – and you have it as one of your featured images

I think cleaning up any images that are missing keywords would be good thing to give a high priority to or you’ll wonder why no sales for those images.
The only other thing I happened to notice is that on an image page (i.e. I clicked on one of your featured images from the home page) I couldn’t type in the search box. I switched the search from image to blog and back and then I could type in it. It worked fine on the home page with no fiddling around. Chrome browser on Mac OSX 10.8.5
November 4, 2013 at 4:43 pm #6827I use Anti-Captcha as well – I hate captcha’s (Shutterstock and 123rf use them) and this is the best of all worlds as a human user never sees it.
November 4, 2013 at 4:40 pm #6837I hope that crapstock is just for a test.
You can find lots of WordPress tutorials if you need to get the hang of how to set up a static home page.

You can sign up for the newsletter called WPBeginner here
There are a couple of free sliders you can use see this thread:

I’d suggest you get rid of the menu at the top that’s taking up so much space – see some of the comments in this thread for pointers

November 4, 2013 at 4:27 pm #6866You don’t say what version you’re on now. Easy or hard depends a bit on that and how much customization you’ve done.
My site was at 2.6.5 and using CleanTheme 2.0 and the upgrade was quite a struggle (largely because I decided that if CleanTheme wasn’t going to be updated any more – Leo will give any purchasers a version that’s been fixed to work with 2.9.x but he’s not maintaining it)
My site is now running with 2.9.4 and Dragonfly (new child theme) with lots of modifications. You can see from Cascoly’s list which version sites are running
November 3, 2013 at 11:20 pm #6733No problem lifting anything you like from my FAQ (do read it to make sure it all applies to you and your licensing!)
I think the etiquette is just to ask first, which you did 🙂 I’ve already offered my licenses and people have taken those to modify as their own. Just be aware that you’re responsible for what your site says, and if you discover I’ve said something truly idiotic, please tell me…
November 3, 2013 at 11:13 pm #4648So here it is with the white background turned off (but you could set it to transparent rather than using a color to avoid problems if you changed the background color in the future) (click for full size):
So the specific container is div.author-bio.contributor.vcard.panel but I think you should be OK setting .panel and .author-bio to background:transparent – I don’t think there will be anywhere you want them to have a color
November 2, 2013 at 7:25 pm #6737From the locked thread, I had posted how I got Contact Form 7 working with the latest version, so other than creating one new e-mail account on my server and changing a couple of entries in the form, it was pretty simple
These were the instructions:
http://savorywatt.com/2012/10/10/fix-contact-form-7-not-working-with-dreamhost/
I made an e-mail address to use in the from field contact.form@digitalbristles.com
I added this to the Additional Headers field

November 2, 2013 at 7:14 pm #3452Here’s where Leo posted a link to all the Symbiostock branding stuff

And I had asked him ages ago if it was OK if I modified it to make a monochrome version for my site and he was OK with that, so I think that small variations of that sort are fine to make it work better for a particular purpose.
I’m happy to donate thumbnails of anything of mine to give away – they can be lifted by anyone anytime so I don’t see this as a negative (I understand Christine’s view but I think she’s further along the spectrum than I am of what we sell vs. what we give away).
If you want anything of mine to slice up as part of a header, just let me know the image number and I’ll e-mail it to you or stick it in my Dropbox folder.
We should have some Twitter hashtags we use for any giveaways or other stuff on FB and I’m happy to tweet about it (I should note that I don’t use Twitter much and if there’s someone who’s got a bazillion followers, they’d be better than me :))

All network results are limited to 15, and regular network is limited to 10. If you have used all 10 network slots, 5 sites from extended network can appear. If you have only one site networked, up to 14 from extended network can be displayed. Every time no more than 15 🙂
And if there is a particular site whose work you don’t care for – for whatever reason = that you see showing up in network searches, you can use the marketing tab to exclude those sites (check the box) and they no longer show up in network search results initiated from your site. I’ve done this (i.e. I’m not making this stuff up!) and seen the results go away – but I’m not sure if this is the intended behavior of the marketing tab check boxes or not. In other words, I don’t know if this will always work or if it’s just a happy accident that works at the moment 🙂

I’m not with micro stock agencies but with macro stocks and every one of them will reject sRGB and only accept AdobeRGB.
Macro agencies are different, and obviously if you think your buyers are more likely to be expecting what the macros would give them, then using CrackerClips workaround, at least for the thumbs and previews, is the best option.
I would definitely put something into the FAQ (or even the image description) about color space (I just edited my FAQ to add this item: http://www.digitalbristles.com/frequently-asked-questions/#colorspace)

I believe AdobeRGB is THE standard in the stock image market so we should probably stick with it.
I am sold on AdobeRGB, but not on the notion that it is the standard – all the micros other than iStock handle only sRGB. Macro agencies may have different standards, but honestly if the micros have thrived on sRGB, I think we can manage.
Preserving the profile (if you upload in Adobe RGB) is great, but if the thumbs and previews look awful, that’s no use. It’s also not much use to have blog and small sizes – which almost certainly will be used for the web – delivered in Adobe RGB where the customer may complain that the image looks awful in a browser.
Couple of links from SS forums on the subject, in case people don’t believe me
