I ran into similar problems using the csv files to add images & keywords to the my global search — special chars really mess up comma delimiting — xmls are easier, but there are still problems.
March 26, 2014 at 3:03 am #10605March 25, 2014 at 7:07 pm #10600I highlight my collections on my home page with links to them
and also have a full page with all collections
March 25, 2014 at 3:05 am #10536it may just be that some categories don’t have images yet — if I click on group5 I get your images, but it looks like there are none for group1 yet
normally, symbio wouldn’t show a category with no images, but you’re using a menu that forces the display of the category.
also, you should process your images so that the site starts to get picked up — your symbiocard says there are 97 images, but there’s no image-ibfo.xml fikle — you can create it in the symbiostock/networking page, click on the bottom
I’ve added you to the global search at http://symbiostock-search.com so your site will be found
To help you find network partners, you can find other sites by specialty, focus or promoted keywords at
http://cascoly.com/symbio/list.asp?list=72In addition, any site that adds http://cascoly-images.com/pix to their network will receive active links in reports such as http://cascoly.com/symbio/list.asp?list=71
March 25, 2014 at 2:53 am #10584you can keep the US currency, but note that you will accept other currencies thru paypal, and then make sure your paypal account reflects that
March 22, 2014 at 7:11 pm #10378http://cascoly.com/symbio/list.asp?list=67 shows all the prices being charged by sym sites (anonymously, of course), plus averages
I price most of my pond5 images at $10 and set my sym largest at that price too
March 21, 2014 at 1:52 am #10530what was the actual error message reported? you just gave the point where the error occurred
March 21, 2014 at 1:50 am #10483too many possibles —
try to upload & process an image with the defaults, using std watermark & GD — if that works, then change one thing at a time to track down where the trouble is
March 20, 2014 at 10:24 pm #10552I automatically put the title in an alt tag on all the results in http://symbiostock-search.com — so if you view source or otherwise copy those results you’ll have the alt tag for our images with the
html
March 19, 2014 at 10:57 pm #10509I also put all my collections on a single page and then link to it
March 17, 2014 at 4:42 pm #10478right – I found the correct info eventually, but wanted to alert whoever’s maintaining the dox to update
March 17, 2014 at 4:57 am #10367use what you like from mine –http://cascoly.com/privacy.htm looking at it I realize it hasn’t been updated for some time, since it still refers to mailing addresses back in the days when we mailed actual program disks to customers
in fact, we don’t collect any information about customers anymore

I did a global search for minerals today and although I could see a thumbnail, when I clicked on it I got a page not found. Then I looked at the whole site and it appears there are no images there at all any more
thanks, i’ll put it on the watch list — symbiocard says there are 14 images updated today, but the image.xml I broken
March 15, 2014 at 9:10 pm #10424===== failed to copy/home/content/74/9008574/html/karmadogs/symbiostock/symbiostock_rf/123.jpg
/uploads/symbiostock_rf_content folders should have BOTH minipic and watermarked previews
the symbiostock_rf_content folder referenced above has your full sized imkages without watermarks, and the error could occur if it tries to read a file there but doesn’t have permission – so check the permissions on that folder — they should be on for owner, off for everyone else = 700
sometimes the permissions don’t get set properly

March 15, 2014 at 8:42 pm #10430thanks, looks like I have tinkering to do – I had hoped the transfer was a bit simpler, but still looks straightforward.
I want to be sure that sites can later be moved from the co-op site to their own domains.
