just guessing, but maybe lnyx is just getting the minipics directly from their folder
to get the previews indexed the sitemapper needs to create and image sitemap — which is what leo’s plugin does. most sitemapping apps don’t do images
adding an alt tag is a good suggestion — I do this for the global search, and the contact sheets it produces
I don’t use plurals for agencies but I do for my sym site where appropriate
I use 2 or 3 categories at most — for a rock texture, geological detail, etc, I may not put it in say Zion National park but would just add it to textures

right, it’s not available currently
here’s what I’m looking to do:
search similar to batch edit & select images for gallery
create the gallery and deliver it as an html table that can be pasted to any pageoptions to save the image list for later editing
eventually I may make this a plugin but first version will be an external program since I can program that faster, and the galleries can then be used both within SYM and on other websites, creating backlinksWelcome!

I checked logs for my global search site and only found 1 of the Russian or Chinese sites — I’m not tracking failed logins on my symbio site.

a bit of both…
just repeated search for ‘food’ that formerly took over 30 sec, now takes 6 — looks good!
for fotolia, since their reviewers are brain-dead, I just use ‘misc’ – if they take it fine, if not , who cares
same for dp & other bottom feeders — no need to waste time picking categories when they can’t produce sales
these lower agencies produce enuf each month to make it worth submitting, but not enough to spend any time doing their work for them
it’s a cosmetic error that’s been reported previously, it crept in during the last few updates; it only shows up for the site owner, and should be fixed in the next release
the actual code may be in the network manager section of the theme /inc/classes but some of the text messages have been changed to variables for translation purposes
right, the desc field doesn’t update properly — the item desc changes but yoast doesn’t notice unless you also edit the ‘excerpt’ at the bottom. this means the meta desc for yoast still has the old text – but the ‘Dublin core’ meta has the edited version

I’m more of an IT guy and found symbiostock fairly simple to setup as I run a hosting venture. I also forked symbiostock on github so hopefully I can be of some use to the development and community as time allows. On this forum I have seen some have issues trying to tweak the code, etc so hopefully I can help with that also.

another thing to remember is that a category will only show up to visitors if you actually place images in it — so you can just leave the default categories there
