They seemed to have stopped disappearing on me just don’t understand why they would move themselves to inactive in the first place :/
May 11, 2014 at 6:49 pm #8959It’s been a few months since anyone’s posted and am curious as to what you’ve found out with getting the images to green? Has it increased traffic and/or sales?
At least 95% of mine are in the okay (yellow) range I’ve got 6 poor (orange) and 1 good (green) out of 1,126 images. Has it actually been worth it to go back and get all of your images to green?
I’m also wondering if using the mini pic in the post could serve as a comp image for prospective buyers to test it out in a mock up to see if it’ll work for their designs or not.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
May 8, 2014 at 1:02 am #2229That is awesome JoAnn!!!
May 7, 2014 at 9:58 pm #11109Seems like the issue with Safari won’t ever be resolved. I ended up emailing them their image this morning which they really appreciated it. I did mention to them about the Safari issue but not in great detail as you described though.
It all worked out which made both of us happy
May 7, 2014 at 8:36 pm #2226Thank you Martha!
After I fixed all of the issues that my buyer was having they sent me the most awesome email ever that completely made my day
May 7, 2014 at 5:47 pm #11107I found it! It was on the PayPal site which is weird because it never happened before with my first sale wonder why the he double hockey sticks it decided to start up this time?
So now I need to figure out how to refund the $6.00 charge to the customer. Any ideas would be very helpful.
*edit*
The $6.00 charge was set up in the shipping preferences in PayPal years ago when I was selling physical goods on my site. I’ve deactivated that so that won’t happen again. I also issued the refund for that amount the customer was charged so they should get that email soon.
Still waiting for them to email me back about which browser they were using so I can pin point their download issue or I could email the image to them which I left as their choice.
May 7, 2014 at 5:20 pm #2224I forgot I have things sent to two different email addresses. Which I know now I’ve got a download bug since the buyer contacted me about it so I’ll be heading to the tech support forum and see if I can get that fixed.
May 7, 2014 at 4:55 pm #2222Thank you! That’s the thing I don’t have an image in the email that I got not entirely sure why neither of the sales I’ve had have that. There was a weird shipping charge as well that I need to track down where that’s coming from. Since I searched the board and found nothing it might just be me that sees that.
May 7, 2014 at 4:16 pm #2220So I left for a job interview this morning and came back to a sale
Medium size on this image http://images.mddu.com/image/3d-render-of-a-background-of-white-puzzle-pieces/?r=images.mddu.com
Took me awhile to find which image it was since it only told me an image number and not a name. So very happy!
May we all get sales daily!
May 2, 2014 at 11:31 pm #11010Even after upgrading I’m still having the same issue. I even went in and changed php versions to see if that would fix it but it didn’t. Not sure what my server did because it was working before even after WP updated to 3.9.
Oh well, I’ll just use the FTP instead since that seems to be working alright.
May 1, 2014 at 8:00 pm #11016I got the dragonfly theme and something appears to be off. The home page bottom 1, 2, 3 widget placement isn’t in the same place as before. I want that above where I have the featured and latest images widgets. Is that controlled with the core code or can I overwrite that somewhere with a child type file?
May 1, 2014 at 4:07 pm #11013I updated it then reactivated my child theme but it’s not reading my child theme CSS file. It looks like crap in IE but looks fine in Firefox so not sure what the issue is any insight would be great.
Working on getting my footer back then exploring the image slideshow thingy after I get all of the other kinks worked out.
Other than the CSS issue all is going well.
May 1, 2014 at 4:18 am #11015Hee hee. I won’t be able to get to it until tomorrow. I’m going to probably save off my menus and pages and stuff to a doc file just in case it overwrites all of that. At least I’m done with the 30 day novel writing challenge so I can completely focus on this.
If I have any issues I’ll search the board if I can’t find the answer I’ll post back here.
Thanks
April 30, 2014 at 7:45 pm #11004I looked at that the other day and got my version numbers messed up. I should probably do a site backup because I’m not sure exactly what will change with my menus and other things if all customization other than the child theme would disappear.
Thanks.
Anita
April 30, 2014 at 12:06 am #11009I can’t seem to find the download link on the symbiostock.com site. I’m using the basic free theme and all I see are paid theme options which is not something I’m going to be getting anytime soon.
Is there another link to update the free one because I can’t find it.
