I don’t know why my site would be different from DonLand’s, but I upgraded to 2.9.4 and WP 3.7, activated the Symbiostock cart plugin and I see all 24 images when I do a search or browse a category of images
October 26, 2013 at 4:16 am #6178I’m not sure why everyone is talking about Pro!
2.9.4 changes the “similar images” issue. That was the only real issue for the new WP.
October 26, 2013 at 4:17 am #6179And you can download it from the link if its not showing as an upgrade in your admin area.

I am not having the thumbnail issue either. Mine seems to be fine

Leo – I was bringing it up because others had access to version 1.2.5 and I was back on 1.2.3 and could not find any way to update to the latest version. I realize that the base version 2.9.4 fixed the other issues – I just want the latest version of Pro. WP wasn’t giving me an option to upgrade Pro in the plug ins. I just upgraded to 2.9.4 and now it’s giving me the option to upgrade Pro too so I’m current on all the versions. Life is good – now I just need to work on making the site pretty and taking more photos.
October 26, 2013 at 3:43 pm #6182Go to plugins list, select Symbiostock Pro, then go to Bulk actions and select Update.
October 26, 2013 at 3:55 pm #6183I’ve updated everything (WP 3.7, SYS 2.9.4, Pro 1.2.5, reactivated cart) and all seems well on my site.
Thanks again, Leo.
November 8, 2013 at 10:34 pm #6184Hi all ,
My apology ,if i am asking this question in wrong thread , i have upgraded to Symbiostock 2.9.4 , i was having issue in payment option , and payment option was solved , and when i was playing around Appearance -> Customize -> Symbiostock Nav Menu , i alter something then my site ( http://www.ephotobuy.com) layout is totally changed , everything is jumbled , and in chrome ( Version 30.0.1599.101) its looking worst , i was playing with Menu because after 2.9.4 image category sub menu option is not coming ( i.e. image category -> Animal -> Bird ) ,i was altering submenu , is there any way to reset , right now this option is present in NAV menu Customize.

Show “Image/Blog” search option?
YesNovember 9, 2013 at 7:59 am #6185i toggled something here and there and now my site(http://www.ephotobuy.com) is back to normal in chrome as well , there is small box just bellow gallery , not sure what it is ,
in 2.9.4 is there any wat i can get sub menu option in Image Category , like i was getting in 2.6.5 , ( i.e. select Image Category , select People hover mouse will bring submenu like kid ,expression , teen etc ) , this is really nice user experience , some of my friend reported as end user to that they are able to see Menu hover submenu option, and that told that was better.
November 9, 2013 at 8:42 am #6186Sadly not – although it was cool. Since this version is attempting to cross completely over to devices, it’s had to stick to a standard of one-level-deep dropdowns. The reason is because people on devices usually can’t navigate like that. For instance, a hover-dropdown doesn’t work (at least not very easily) on a touch device, so this system was used.
The way around it though not ideal is to simply point to a sub-category page. But I know thats not exactly what your looking for.
November 9, 2013 at 11:40 am #6187Oh Thanks for information Leo , yeah mobile devices mouse hover submenu would be problematic.
“The way around it though not ideal is to simply point to a sub-category page. But I know thats not exactly what your looking for.”
I will try out this , once any one clicks on Animal menu it will go to Animal Category , along with all the images , one will see bird , insect , mammal submenu category , and clicking upon any submenu will show specific image.
Thanks for pointer Leo.
November 10, 2013 at 1:42 am #6188I added a gallery page of categories to include some of the sub categories no longer visible via the menus – as well as the list of all categories page:
http://www.digitalbristles.com/gallery/categories/
You could have a page for just subcategories of one main category if you wanted. I was very taken aback when the submenus went away, but I think that working on other ways for buyers to find content may result in something even better in the end.
November 10, 2013 at 8:50 am #6189I split them out and added some of my categories with subcategories to my navigation bar
