1) I see “star” next to Featured, and an “eye” next to Latest.
What else?
October 10, 2013 at 8:07 pm #4179Lots of stuff! Since these versions are actually just moving toward “finished” i haven’t bothered listing everything. But here are a few that come to mind:
1. Almost every page template has been improved and cleaned up.
2. Widget areas improved and cleaned up.
3. Customizer has some more options (footer still slightly incomplete)And a few other things.
October 10, 2013 at 10:25 pm #4180Hi Leo,
The zips don’t price anymore. Could you look at that at all please
Kind regards
MarkOctober 10, 2013 at 10:31 pm #4181Will do.
October 10, 2013 at 10:58 pm #4182I set up 2 zips yesterday — neither showed a price on the image page
upgraded to 2.7.3 1.2.2 today and now the second one shows a zip price, but the first still doesn’t.
I tried editing the price of the 1st, turning zip to unavail, saving, then turning zip back on – no change
the 2nd zip, the one that now has a price is http://cascoly-images.com/pix/image/collection-of-images-of-troy/ (it didn’t show a price yesterday, I changed nothing, but the price showed up today). the zip contains a bunch of low res images — about 10Mb
the first one is:
http://cascoly-images.com/pix/image/stock-image-by-steve-estvanik-63/
this contains a zip of an mp4, about 200Mb
the video that appears on the image page is from youtube and displayed using the HWplayer pluginOctober 10, 2013 at 11:02 pm #4183Thanks for those notes. I’ll be checking into it today. BTW – are your categories working for you now? I had updated it for you on the premium version.
October 11, 2013 at 1:05 am #4184categories are alpha’d now — Great!
I still need to check on the delete problem there & for keywords
October 11, 2013 at 8:42 am #4185I wanted to start a new thread but I guess I can toss my questions in here for the time being:
I’m still at 2.6.5 and ever since the 2.7.0 version came out, I was waiting for an update link in my WordPress back-end.
I was not as active on the forums and I may have missed some “workflow” changes regarding the upgrading procedures of Symbiostock.
1. Are we back to downloading the ZIP file from github and then installing/upgrading the theme “manually” instead of simply hitting the “Update” button in WordPress?
2. I have done only a few CSS modifications in my child theme. Do I have to expect any mishaps with the latest Symbiostock version?
3. In general when upgrading, is it recommended to run a test purchase every time to make sure the payment process is running smoothly?
Thanks in advance!
I’m excited to check out the latest version. BTW, since the updates apparently need to be installed “manually” I always wonder where I can get the latest versions as on http://www.symbiostock.com/ the latest version is 2.6.3
October 11, 2013 at 8:45 am #4186You only have to get the github version once https://github.com/orangeman555/symbiostock/blob/metamorphosis/symbiostock.zip?raw=true
After that its updates through the admin.
You may wish to re-integrate your CSS modifications 1 by 1. This is the biggest overhaul (and the final one) so its a slight redesign to say the least. But its worth it!
You don’t have to test-purchase anything — its perfectly stable. We’re just adding features now. Whether or not THOSE features are stable… 😀 so far its been ok.

Thanks Leo, so after installing the theme via ZIP upload I don’t have to do this activation mambo-jambo like we used to?
And if I understand you correctly I have to upload my child theme clean at first and then add each CSS modification one by one to watch for issues?
Good to hear that the payment feature is stable.
Thanks again.
