About a month or so ago, there was a discussion about whether keywords on the image page hurt SEO results.
Leo stated that he would make a version that was minimalistic (no keywords, categories, etc) and some people stated that they would try it.
I was wondering what the results of the experiment were. Was it a success? Failure? Or no difference?
You can read the other thread here:

https://github.com/orangeman555/symbiostock/blob/master/symbiostock.zip?raw=trueThe option is in the customizer page under “Image Page Content”. You have the options “Default” or “Strictly Minimal”
If you see an increase in traffic by knocking down image page content to what is strictly most relevant, show us the results/data! 😀

Above is not minimal – you left author 🙂
Maybe different approach:
Instead of these two options, I would prefer separate checboxes for author, keywords and categories 🙂October 20, 2013 at 8:58 pm #5515Leo,
As much as I love all the updates and upgrades, would it be possible we could have a sticky page that has a list with a link to each update and just a brief few lines with the changes in each update? It feels like we are getting updates pretty much every day and its hard to keep up sometimes.
Thanks
October 21, 2013 at 1:26 am #5516I’ve also noticed if you have it set to Minimalist it hides any widgets you have added to the image pages?
October 21, 2013 at 3:16 am #5517Hello! This officially ends the updates! There’s going to be some minor fixes. Yes, the minimalist version hides everything not directly relevant to the sale of the image.
October 21, 2013 at 4:43 am #5518If anybody goes with this “minimalist” approach, please let the rest of us know. I’d like to see how pages look if done that way.
Thanks in advance!
