Thanks to Tim in Texas for suggesting the “LayerSlider WP” plugin (on an earlier thread) and also for a few PM tips he gave me. I bought it this morning and played with it for most of the day and evening. Best $15 I’ve spent in a long time. Like everything else, there is a learning curve. But it’s not hard and turned out to be lots of fun. Certainly a lot easier and more fun for me than Photoshop!
I changed my header to make the new colors look right. But that was no big sacrifice.
I think this is pretty good already, but if anybody sees ways to improve it, I’ll be grateful for your suggestions.

It’s an Envato product, so I was able to “spend” some of the $$ I’d been accumulating from my PhotoDune sales for the plugin. That was easy!

This is one awesome SYS product you’ve created, buddy. And it just gets better and better. How much better can it get now? I dunno. Sky’s the limit.

Love the slideshow. One minor suggestion I would make is shortening the header categories a bit so they all fit on one line. On my iPad, at least, that would move your slideshow up a bit so it’s “above the fold.” Right now I have to scroll down or your photography is cut off.

Your site took over a minute to load with the slideshow still not visible. Thought you might know about it.

I can eliminate the Exclusive Images category, which will shorten the menu bar. I’ll do it!

Yes, I do need to know that. Not sure why unless the slide show overwhelms my server. Those images were all “saved for web & devices” on Photoshop, so they shouldn’t be too big. But I’ll check it out.
Shelma, Quail Run and others… did you find a slow load time too? Please let me know if you do/did!
