i just updated symbiostock and now it seems like everything related to symbiostock is gone from my dashboard and my site is blank?
did i do something wrong? this hasn’t happened with the previous updates.February 16, 2014 at 5:08 pm #9775Being totally un-technical I would try deactivating and re-activating the theme to see if that helps.
If you put your site url in your signature (via the User Control Panel at the top of the page) it will be easier for members to take a look at your site

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtFebruary 16, 2014 at 5:17 pm #9776thanks! it’s staceywalkeroldham.com – but right now it’s totally gone! i can see that all the symbiostock files are still in the file manager on godaddy so i’m hoping that even though i (stupidly) haven’t done any sort of backup, i can somehow restore it! i had something similar happen last year when using a different theme and managed to save everything but had to re-build the site. i’m hoping i don’t have to do that again!
February 16, 2014 at 5:20 pm #9777i can see this message on my wordpress dashboard…
i’m just worried that if i have to re-install the themes i might have to start overName Description
ss-professional Stylesheet is missing.
SYMBIOSTOCK Child The parent theme is missing. Please install the “symbiostock” parent theme.
SYMBIOSTOCK Dragonfly The parent theme is missing. Please install the “symbiostock” parent theme.February 16, 2014 at 5:41 pm #9778Reinstall Symbiostock, you must have somehow accidentally deleted it, that should hopefully sort you out.
If you cannot find it go to

February 16, 2014 at 7:25 pm #9781When I updated my test site to Symbiostock 3.3.0 it deleted my symbiostock theme directory. I had to restore from a backup. It looks like this is happening to others as well.
February 16, 2014 at 7:35 pm #9782I cannot even get to my dashboard – any ideas?

No idea why you would not be able to get to your dashboard. I was able to get to the WP dashboard but my theme was gone. I just used filezilla to restore the symbiostock theme folder.
February 16, 2014 at 7:42 pm #9784i did it via http://www.sangostock.com/wp-admin/
than installed SyS 3.2.9 again from the forum and OKFebruary 16, 2014 at 7:45 pm #9785I went in via ftp and moved (not deleted) my child theme, that allowed me access to dashboard again. Then moved it back again after reinstalling 3.2.9
This new method of easily being able to download the new versions to our computers is brilliant, means we can keep backups 😀
