Update 2.7.1:
Examples of the new version at work:

[/list]Huge control over the “image page” is now available in the customizer area. ALSO you can control rounded corners or not on your minipics. Lots of improvements made around the site for layout and cleanness.

I do use Syxtra but only for the image previews. I am sure the issues will be worked out with Syxtra but if all I want is popup image previews are there other ways to get that functionality? Do you ever see image previews being a part of the base SY theme or the Premium plugin?
Thanks

You are all three masters. Good job.
I noticed that you are all using lots of keywords. Is that the recommendation now?
October 3, 2013 at 5:20 am #3694No — my keywords are older than symbiostock. I don’t think you should copy me 😀
October 3, 2013 at 5:39 am #3695I have my test site setup now with 2.7.1.

Leo has again done a great job of creating functionality and flexibility.
October 3, 2013 at 6:22 am #3696Leo – I am really struggling with the homepage still. None of the hompages call the CTA widgets properly. and now with the 2.7.1 upgrade all of them bar Home Page SImple add a blue bar at the bottom which is a comments area accruing to firebug.
Little help?

October 3, 2013 at 8:14 am #3773Yeah Leo, you are the master, that looks darn sweet. Thank you so much, and forgive me for not being patience. I feel embarrassed. Thanks again, I’ll never doubt you again.
October 3, 2013 at 10:24 am #3697Yours is looking good David
Cosmetically I am very gradually getting my test site similar to my current one but everything has changed so am having a lot of trial and errors (lots of errors and fails 🙂 ) although I should probably wait until after Leo has finished upgrading.
A couple of things I would like to see is a footer the same width as the main body so it does not look stuck on the bottom and no flashing search box (just have a personal hate of websites flashing at me, I normally leave them without reading )
You are welcome to see progress so far of 2.7.1 at my test site http://tulip.kerioak.com

I’m still find my way around all of this but since my site isn’t really up and running, its a good time to test things and learn.

I love the colors and the background image. You have coordinated them so well. I am still deciding on if I want a background image or just leave a header image.

Hi and Welcome to the Symbiostock family, sounds so much friendlier than network 🙂
You are starting at a distinct advantage to the rest of us at the moment in starting from scratch with the latest version of the theme that Leo is working on.

Thanks! Yip that is what I thought! Save time and just dive in in the deep Beta end hehe. The downside is I have no idea if things don’t work because of a buy or if I’m doing something wrong. I suspect I will have to continue reading the rest of the posts looking to answers to my questions before asking 🙂
October 3, 2013 at 8:27 pm #3702Great job Leo!
Definitely much more user friendly and much slicker looking than the last versions 🙂

Couple of bugs tho…
Footer
Copyright info has a border (at very bottom of page) and background colour
Widgets – in footer – have their background colour affected when changing the Heading colours?
Be nice if the footer was the same width as the main body 🙂
Also would be good to have the option of changing the colour of the thin bar across the footer – to match logo branding.Pages
Blue outlined box appears at the bottom of a ‘page’…
http://www.travelwitness.net/end-user-license-agreement/
Referral links
I can’t seem to fill these in as blank.
Any chance of an option to toggle them on or off?
Or make it into a Widget so it can be moved around?Image pages
Extended licence button – not aligned left
Extended licence info button – stalled link – just hangs
Can’t seem to get the ‘featured images’ widget to work – could be user error on my part 🙂
Similar images works fineNetwork results
Gradient pattern every other row
Personally I would rather see all the results from the network in a grid under a heading ‘Results from the Symbiostock Network’ or similar – without their network owner names.
Or be able to switch off the sliding network results, I think 6 images or so from each network is plenty for a customer browsing. The sliding images make it feel a bit restless.
Ranked images
I think AJT or Cascoly mentioned this already, but ranked images don’t filter out to the wider network – they only work in site.
Suggestion for the Content filter
Maybe change it from Green, Orange and Red to None or Off, Exclude Nude Content, Exclude Nude & Adult Content.
Or just have it Adult Filter On or Off
Its a bit confusing the way it is, I’m not sure how it works.__________________________________________________
Love the customisation panels, makes playing with the menu layout a breeze and much more intuitive.
Shaping up to be a serious contender!
Excellent work 🙂
I’m using 2.71, had a play with it today…
