2.7.0, 2.7.1
As of 2.7.1 visuals have been vastly improved. Layout is organized and clean by default. More work is being done, but here are some good example sites:

This has been a gentle process of converting Symbiostock to the modern (responsive) web as well as adding some higher-end features.
The coolest feature is unquestionably the “Live Customizer” which utilizes a WordPress feature to do live edits to your site’s appearance, then commit them when you are happy with them.

Go to APPEARANCE >> CUSTOMIZE and APPEARANCE >> CUSTOM HEADER to see some awesome stuff.
You can see the changes live as you are modifying them. Its helpful for people who do not know CSS. I’m still adding options (I must do it carefully so everything is consistent and does not break)
In the customize area you can:

There’s 600 google fonts. Obviously we don’t want to list them all, but we need an extensive professional list. Perhaps up to 25 or 30? Please add to this list, and help me generate a master list.

I didn’t have time to have a close look but it does look very cool out of the box!:-)
I also noticed that clean-theme isn’t fully compatible with it so I hope clean-theme get’s updated soon.i’ll be upgrading when I get back home next week — eanwhile, can you post a list of previous bugs/problems that have been addressed here?
I am not sure about the cosmetics. You can look around my site and see what is what. But the image page doesnt look good at all. Its just my opinion, I dont want to put a damper on things. I havent found any technical bugs.
I am really curious. However, I don’t know when I will upgrade from 2.6.5. This new version will surely break the heavy css-tweaking I’ve done on my site. So I’ll need to find a time window to deal with it. Hope I can do it soon…

I’m putting in as many customizable features as possible. I’m focusing hugely on this so people can make things the way they want easily. Today I’m going to add a few more customizatizable features to the image page.
Hopefully when this is done it will allow everyone to set sail for a year or two with no adaptation / upgrade need.

can i just jump from 2.6.5 to 2.7.0 ?
i have: WordPress 3.6.1 PHP 5.3 Single SYS 2.6.5
and i like what i see now on my site…..You may wish to wait a few hours. The version upgrade I’m working on at this moment looks much much better on the image page as well as its widgets.
If your up for the adventure you may wish to jump in. If you like to play it safe, then you might want to wait a few more days and see how everyone else fares.

I really dont like the image page at all. I have mentioned all the issues with cosmetics in the other thread.
I have change the grey color to white now. So thats fixed. How do I get my rounded thumbnails back?
Can I roll back to 2.6.4 without issues?
