Today I got a big number of user registration. Tens of new users in half a day with different emails. No name, no other info. I now disabled user registration. Hopefully after couple of days the bot will not be interested in my site.
Just curious. What the purpose for the bot to create so many user accounts? Anyone has experiences?
This has happened and continues to happen regularly. No rhyme or reason – just spam. I suggest you add a captcha plugin and it will remove all of this.
