I thought it might be nice and maybe motivating to mention recent sales in this thread.
So here we go, just sold on my own Symbiostock site: http://picturebreeze.com/stock/photos/image/young-couple-dancing-in-traditional-mexican-outfit-2/
February 4, 2016 at 5:55 am #25670Another sale, this time an RF Unlimited License on symzio.com.

February 4, 2016 at 6:46 am #25674Thanks, George. Very much appreciated.
February 4, 2016 at 7:07 am #25675February 4, 2016 at 7:17 am #25676I’m glad for symzio, too. It sure takes a lot of time but once you get the ball rolling, it will be successful. I have no doubts about it.
BTW, I still remember when I first started with the old Symbiostock theme. It took about 6 months until I got the first sale. Then the sales were coming in pretty regularly. Not huge but better than most of my traditional agencies.
Just saying that contributors need to be patient. Don’t expect instant results, that’s not how it works. Eventually sales will come.
February 4, 2016 at 8:29 am #25681So I just tried searching for an image on Google with these key words: commercial fishing boat tied dock
Second row of presented images: there was PictureBreeze watermarked image – right with Getty and Alamy images! Wowza!
George
That’s awesome but the client didn’t buy it on my site. He bought it on symzio.com.

Yes, totally agree, it’s very important to be realistic and understand that success doesn’t happen overnight. Congrats on the sale Redneck!
March 5, 2016 at 5:20 am #25954Site was up at the begining of this year and start to see sales.

March 5, 2016 at 5:34 am #25956Thank you George. A big applause to symbiostock!

March 5, 2016 at 12:23 pm #25958March 5, 2016 at 12:23 pm #25959Thanks Andre!
March 5, 2016 at 12:24 pm #25960Thank you Robin. Wish more people are encouraged to join symbiostock! Such an excellent business model.
March 5, 2016 at 12:51 pm #25961I’ve been busy with lots of other stuff lately, but you are 100% right; each member would have to invest less effort with each new contributor that joined, simply for the link juice and increase in global footprint that benefits the entire network. Theoretically, if everyone passively created their independent sites and joined Symzio and did nothing else, we’d still see a great deal of sales.
So if nothing else, don’t hesitate to encourage peers to do it. It costs very little (hosting, domain) and is a promising business model that, unlike everything else right now, is future-proof.
March 5, 2016 at 11:33 pm #25965Great news Songquan – it even made me buy the Symbiostock-Express theme. Not that I think the the theme it self will sell more of my images, it just makes it so much easier to set up a clear and logic shop, than is the case with e.g. the woocommerce theme I began with.
