I have tried deleting a few more menu items but it has not helpedNor has adding
php_value max_input_vars 9000
to the php.ini fileDo you have the exact wording they put in your php.ini ?

http://nail-art-at.kerioak.com - Art and Nail ArtSeptember 29, 2013 at 3:02 pm #2892I have added
php_value max_input_vars 9000
to the php.ini fileDeleted all my menu items from Appearances, Menu
Edited and combined a lot of my menu’s to reduce the number
Deleted Cache (quite a few times at various stages)
Reinstalled one menu set in the header under Appearances-Menu
but only the Home menu shows – does anyone have any more ideas please. From something I have read php.ini 5.3 is the cause of some menu limitation problems.

Things are stable on my site now, so clearly it can be fixed but I’m holding my breath until the next out-of-the-blue whammy.
Good luck to you.
OOPS! I missed your update. Hope the new situation holds.
September 29, 2013 at 5:51 pm #2895JH refused to help as they said it was not directly their problem but software. I really hope the customers start flocking in soon so I can go to a host that backs up properly and helps with all features.

Well, that’s weird since Bluehost didn’t give me that run-around at all. Maybe it’s because I am paying for the “premium” (I think it’s called) hosting for (I believe) $19.95/mo. They ought to give everybody better service, but I really can’t complain about how they’ve treated me on several occasions when I’ve contacted them for help.
October 1, 2013 at 2:50 pm #2897I think it depends on the person, some of JH’s are brilliant, others give you any old information (does not matter if it is wrong) just to get rid of you.. Fortunately most seem to be good.

October 1, 2013 at 7:01 pm #2899I did a bit more research and it seems you add the vars code to the .htaccess – I have added it and will try it out tomorrow morning before I do anything else to see if it works
