Premium Update – Prettier Collection Page

I was recently forced to detour and upgrade the collections feature — it simply gives a much better presentation of the included images. Also it gives some jumpy-links to the images, and the product box is a little nicer too on how it presents them.

If you’ve converted over to the metamorphosis theme, you will see that the widgets disappear on the collection pages. This is so customers don’t get overwhelmed by images and overlook / get confused regarding whats included and what is not. NOTE:

Collections are best sold if you put the starting price as the combination of ALL included images, and then attach a discount. The customer sees the value of the offer that way.

Lastly, just for some inspiration, I put all of my collections into one category:

My site is very collection focused, so I went that route. Notice the navbar as well.

I have not even looked at collections yet. Once you have published them is that it or can you add different images/adjust price etc at any time?

can we also get the reverse? have a note on the individual image page that lets people know it’s part of a collection?

have you fixed the problem with not being able to delete categories from selected images in the batch editor? instead it deletes the categpry entirely

Leo, could you maybe name your files with the version and version number? I think that makes it easier to keep track of the files and what is what. Thank you for considering.

Thats on the near to-do. As I used the batch editor for two hours yesterday I was rather happy with how wonderfully stable it is – yet I did find some things needed like you mention. I’ll try to implement that in the easiest way possible. I’m really dying to fix this thing 99% and set it free for a year’s stability at least 😀

Can anyone advise on how do I upgrade? On Plugins page in WP admin, I can see the “SYMBIOSTOCK – Professional” plug-in v 1.1.8., but there isn’t the yellow bar underneath saying that an update is available.

Even if you don’t see an update, if you select it and push “update” it will fetch the latest version available.
