Hello,
I want to create a wordpress site that allows to sell photos online with multiple sellers.
I have a few questions regarding your wordpress plugin.
– Is it possible to apply specific prices in relation to the categories?
– Is the management of microdata the only solution to manage the generation of photos with a tree structure of categories? It is not possible to manage this with a folder tree on the FTP?
Regards
Hi Billy,
Thanks for the questions.
1) Prices to categories is a WooCommerce question – there may be plugins that offer this. Although Symbiostock offers a great deal of control over pricing, we do not currently have a mechanism to bulk alter prices based on category. However, an easy way to navigate this is to add a keyword to each media you want to be priced a certain way, and then use the license filtering under each license’s page to achieve the same thing, albeit with more control.
2) All categorical data is stored within the database and the file location will have no bearing on this. Generally speaking, file tree structure is not an effective way to categorize files within WordPress as everything is driven and controlled by the database.
Thanks.
