I just test my PayPal selling. Everything goes nice, customer can pay, I get payment, upload link goes ready to Customer Licence and File Management Area. But, then..
Customer choosing image link to upload, new site opens (symbiostock_file_download.php), blank site, nothing more, no image, no download, nothing. What’s going wrong?

There I can see the file and size I had bought and can download it.
The only thing I can think of is that you are still logged in to your site as an administrator. Use a different browser or log out and log in with your new customer log in and then try again.

Probably you have php 5.4.x and Symbio version below 2.7.9.
Solution: downgrade php to 5.3 or upgrade theme to 2.8.xI dropped PHP from 5.4 to 5.3. and works nice 🙂
I was having problems completing a sale before, when I was on 2.6.5.
Now that I’ve upgraded to 2.8.x, with Leo’s great help, I was expecting my purchases to go through. But no, not yet.
I talked with Paypal today. Things there seem to be set up correctly. I even double-checked later to make sure I actually do have a business account, and I do.
So, here’s my situation…
A registered buyer can send me $$.
He gets a receipt from PP for the $$.
His $$ shows up as a deposit in my PP account. (And I’m even able to refund his $$.)
I get a PP confirmation of the sale.Everything goes fine to that point, but the buyer never receives a download link, either on his Customer Page on my site or via an email.
So… money changes hands but no product is delivered. Not good.
I’m totally stumped. Does anybody have a suggestion for me at this point?
Mooie Martha, I was just able to download my bloggee from that previous test. So something got fixed in the process, for me at least. I can try a brand new purchase and see what happens now.
It is working for me ! 🙂
I haven’t had a live sale yet but in sandbox mode everything worked properly for me.

Whohoo!!! That’s what I needed to hear. Wonderful news, Ron. Thank you so much for doing that!
The only thing different between the two tests was the upgrade to 2.8.x Nothing else changed. So… that had to be what made the difference. I’m very pleased, and I know Leo will be.
