I have a self hosted system where 4 wordpress sites are hosted. They are working fine.
I did a new fresh installation, downloaded the recommended woo commerce and symbiostock plugin and installed just those.
The problem is that it doesn’t seem to generate the thumbnails. I uploaded three files in the “new” folder and it processed one of the files where metadata was correct but no thumbnail can be seen. http://bjokib.ddns.net/product/snowmobile-and-forest/
I haven’t been able to install the Imagick PHP Extension but the server have 72GB ram so I dont think memory should be an issue…

Okay, now that GD is installed, it should parse your images just fine. Give it a go and let us know.
Ok so I spinned up a fresh ubuntu server 16.04 LEMP install with the latest packages and updates. Fresh WordPress install.
It still won’t process images, and this time I also got the Imagick extension loaded successfully.
I have increased the memory, post, and upload limits to 500MB.
It gets all metadata as title, desc and keywords right, but not the actual image itself.

Issue has been rectified, however it was due to your server using PHP7. We’re not yet tested and working with that version.

Maybe I should downgrade to php5 for this site. Some other stuff that doesn’t work quite right. Revolution slider installs but the admin panel doesn’t show. And the theme Symbiostock Express looks a bit strange.
Yeah, that might be a good idea. PHP7 introduces a lot of new syntax stuff and you may have other errors.
Installed php-fpm5.6, seems to work better with that. Maybe I should reinstall the plugin as well if you did some changes to accommodate php7. (which I am not running anymore)
Nope – change I made is backward compatible and will be contained in Symbiostock 3.0 anyways. You should be good to go.
