Tagged: symbiostock thumbnail problem
Hi,
When processing images most of my images receive the following error.
<b style=”font-size: medium; color: #000000; font-family: Times; line-height: normal;”>Fatal error</b><span style=”font-size: medium; color: #000000; font-family: Times; line-height: normal;”>: Uncaught exception ‘ImagickException’ with message ‘Insufficient memory (case 4)</span>
As result the image are processed but no thumbnail created.
What would be a common solution to this problem?
Cheers, Jefunne.
Have you checked the memory WP can use?
Thanks Redneck for asking.
Do you mean the one that I can change with the wp-config.php file?
At least that way I enhanced the WP Memory Limit already to 128Mb.
Is there any other way still?
Yeah, that’s what I meant. The Symbiostock settings page says “Your memory_limit should be set to over 64, ideally over 200.”
I have it set at 256MB. Maybe worth giving it a shot?
Thanks Redneck,
I did set the memory limit to 256MB, but keep having the same:
Fatal Error: <span style=”color: #272727; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 28.8px; background-color: #fbfbfb;”>Uncaught exception ‘ImagickException’ with message ‘Insufficient memory (case 4) </span>
messages and no thumbnails created.
So I guess I need to follow up on the suggestion George made and go to my host and see what they allow.
Thanks for the tips!
Jefunne
