Tagged: file number
I have uploaded 3000 eps + jpg illustrations and altogether with wordpress files and etc, my file number count was 50.000
I wasn’t sure Symbiostock generates the files. But — now as I have to for a different reason — I’m deleting my products, and for 150 deleted products, around 2000 files less appear in Cpanel statistics.
Any idea?
There is a file number / inode limit quota on the most promising host I’ve found
Hi Tamas – this is just the way WordPress works. When you add any image to WordPress, whether it be through Symbiostock or just an individual post, WordPress creates a large number of thumbnailed versions of that same image. You might be able to get plugins that change this, but I would recommend against it.
Usually hosts don’t care how many files you have, only the amount of space you occupy, so this is rarely an issue.
