I have installed version 2.8 and had a few issues, for some reason half my pages were moved to the trash which was a little worrying, and also the images are not loading whether you use the image preview icon on go to the actual image page, is anyone else having this issue? Have tired uploading a new image and it is still the same??
Thanks
October 14, 2013 at 8:30 pm #4835Your symbiocard is showing you having 0 images in your portfolio
How did you upgrade?
You have a great individual look to your site 🙂

BTW – I’m adding a hover-preview if I can today, since Syxtra appears to be eaten by the langoliers https://www.google.com/search?client=ubuntu&channel=fs&q=langoleers&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

October 14, 2013 at 9:19 pm #4838LOL thats cute.
October 14, 2013 at 9:48 pm #4851Not sure if this is related, but the image processor cant handle panoramas. Even when they have been downsized.
I have a panorama at 8500×1759 4.08mb and the processor is not processing it. No error, nothing, the image just sits there and when you click processing the page is refreshed and the image just remains.
Uploading larger normal files is no issue. Could it be related to the longest side of 8500 pixels? Before I had no issues getting my panoramas processed.
Problem image 8500 x 1759 4.08mb
Earlier upload 10294 × 2428 22.9mb
ImageMagick (exec enabled)
SYS 2.8.0
Pro 1.2.3
WP 3.6.1
PHP 5.3 singleOctober 14, 2013 at 9:53 pm #4839Oh this will affect me shortly as I also have some to upload in the future. Some are too large I’m sure but is there a max size? I assume that 40megapixels would be too big but Panoramas are never small in size. Is the limitation on dimensions or file size?

October 14, 2013 at 10:05 pm #4840If you want to cheat the system, and it matters THAT much – you could try this:

Upload a size the system can handle.
[/*]

Modify the product ONLY the large (original size) is available.
[/*]

Copy the image number.
[/*]

Paste it as the filename of the original and upload it to the symbiostock_rf folder (top level)
[/*]
The only sad thing is that the pixel dimensions will reflect the smaller size.
October 14, 2013 at 10:06 pm #4852Ok, I will open a new thread about it, if its not related. I dont know the restrictions, my memory is increased so no idea what the issue is.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh, wait, it might have been reset again. Let me check.

I was going to suggest that, but people get annoyed when I say its not my fault. :/

Apologies if I ever came across as annoyed, I haven’t had much issues with my site, and I am not lacing my comments with smileys when we are troubleshooting. But I certainly haven’t blamed you for anything, ever. 🙂 🙂 🙂

I don’t want to hog this thread so if there is info on this elsewhere please point. Without cheating what are the limits etc.?
October 14, 2013 at 10:25 pm #4856Well, if 15MP and 4MB is too large for the system I might as well pack up and go home. Why did I buy a 20MP Canon 6D again? I do hope Symbiostock actually allows me to process images. Thats kind of the whole point of it. LOL. I am off to bed. I am annoyed now 😉
