Jpeg to go 12 bit and Lossless!

This is an article I just read. Interesting news but it may be too late considering RAW formats.

So my workflow probably wouldn’t be altered at all by this – assuming that it gets widely adopted by browsers, editing tools, image and design software, etc. – except that I’d upload the new JPEG if needed.

I think the most likely outcome is that this goes the way of JPEG 2000 🙂

I archive the RAW file, my multi-layer PSD file and the JPEGs I upload. I wouldn’t remove either RAW or PSD because of a slightly improved JPEG
