Hi all,
I want to start introducing individual Symbiostock sites on the facebook page. Please reply here with a little blurb about yourself, your site, etc.
A little about you
A little about your work
A little about why you started a Symbiostock site
What kind of images you specialize in
Anything else you’d like to say
A link to one page on your site — home page, image page, about page, wherever you’d like people to visit (image pages have a nice visual impact)I’ll edit down and post on Facebook. Please keep it short…you can always link to a longer blog post if you like.
First come, first served.
We can always re-introduce later when we have more likes.
I’d love to do Leo’s site first.November 4, 2013 at 6:41 pm #6879also if i’m not using Facebook by myself
ok, then here is my introduction:
SangoStock has dedicated images from Sándor Góra in The Netherlands.
The images you see on this site are mostly all made ‘in real live’ from people, animals and nature.
Using an image from SangoStock is like buying directly from the farmer:
direct contact, no agency between you and me.
Please feel welcome to look around at http://www.sangostock.com
November 4, 2013 at 9:16 pm #6880I think my home page link is best (there’s tons of visual stuff there)

But if you prefer an image page, how about this one?

Jo Ann Snover has been selling stock images and illustrations since 2004. Her images cover a variety of travel and lifestyle subjects, but the colorful, beautiful (real or fantasy) look is found throughout. Life as nature made it, or sometimes as it should have been.
As agencies have become more established, they’ve become less flexible and have stopped treating their contributors as partners. Selling direct but as part of the Symbiostock network of independent artists allows customers to interact directly if that’s needed and get a great deal on images, knowing that they’re supporting the artist, not some big business or financier.
November 5, 2013 at 3:05 am #6881Steve Heap has been an active stock photographer since 2008 and likes to cover a broad range of photos – extensive travel images plus many isolated objects and concepts, beautiful cats and sometimes you can find something out of the ordinary!

I’ve been traveling and exploring for over 40 years. Over the last 30 years, I’ve run my own software, photo and travel businesses. Travel links my many interests and passions: I am an avid cook, constantly expanding my spice collection and recipes through travel. My history interests and readings have exploded as I constantly discover new areas and eras. I’ve photographed many lands, from Antarctica to Zambia, including Nepal, Iran, Syria, Morocco, Russia and Central Asia, Egypt, Turkey, India, Burma, China and Europe. My images range from Alaska and Canada through the US and Mexico to Peru, Chile and Argentina. But there are always new places to see or old favorites to revisit. My favorite images are candids of people in their everyday life. These are the reasons I do photography, so professional and leisure activities merge – the ability to also sell images means I can finance that next trip!
… feel free to edit

http://www.softlightstock.comNovember 8, 2013 at 2:30 am #6886Martha Marks has been photographing North American wildlife for three decades. Her images have appeared in National Geographic’s Birds of North America, Encyclopedia Britannica Online, Birder’s World, Chicago Wilderness Magazine, and dozens of other fine publications. She recently created Martha Marks’ Best Nature Stock Photography (http://bestnaturestock.com/) through Symbiostock as a direct outlet for her images of birds, beasts, bugs, plants, and places.
Thanks, Michele!
November 8, 2013 at 4:47 pm #6887Daniel Hodac, I started to enjoy photography as a hobby since July-2013. I began to capture images for Stock photo on Oct-2013 and spreading my tiny portfolio to SS, IS, BS, 123RF, Alamy, Fotolia and Dreamtime. I found out about SymbioStock 4 days ago. With recent laid off, I have free time to spend to configure my own site, yet it still needs a lot of works and feedback to improve.
I am a newbie in both photography and marketing products. I love to capture Nature, People (Portrait), Foods, and Macro
Thanks for helping me grow!
DanielNovember 8, 2013 at 5:12 pm #6888Thanks everyone! I’ve also gotten a couple of blurbs via email, so don’t worry if your site doesn’t seem to be promoted in proper order…I’m just going first come, first served.
