When I move to importing new images by FTP (rather than transferring from legacy), it is possible to include a category in one of the IPTC fields and have it imported, or do we use the bulk edit for category that is mentioned in another post? It is sometimes easier to work with many files in Lightroom rather than in the wordpress environment.

I will look into adding this functionality. For now, the bulk edit is the best way.
