Hello, I contacted my hosting to install Imagick PHP, and they confirmed it was already installed. In WordPress, however, I’m still seeing the prompt:
“Symbiostock strongly recommends the Imagick PHP extension for use. Please install or enable Imagick. Click here to ignore this warning and continue using the limited GD library for JPEGs only.”
Any ideas what I need to do to fix this?
Hi Taylor,
Are you sure you have Imagick PHP installed, and not just ImageMagick? If it is installed and activated, then Symbiostock should see it. Symbiostock does not use any advanced mechanisms of testing this – it just checks PHP and PHP tells it it’s not running. It is definitely a hosting issue – I recommend you run it by your people again, and use the phpinfo() function to confirm.
