Tagged: video error
We have purchased the video plugin and tested it with the video diagnostics plugin – works ok.
Then tried to upload an actual video but 100% failures:
First there was a 200MB check which we have overwritten.
But now it fails because it looks for metadata in the video file, both MOV and MP4 say they are not supported and the process fails.
How exactly does one upload a video as a product?
Hi there,
Within the video diagnostic plugin there is a test file – can you please try uploading this and seeing if the processor processes it? The video plugin works for thousands of users so usually issues like these are unique to either the system you are running on, or the specific format the videos you are uploading are in. So first try different videos, such as ones you download from the web, to see if they work. If they do, then it has something to do with the specific videos you are trying to upload.
The problem was with the checkbox: “Force disable FINFO”. Must be off. Not sure if it was needed for the vectors.
It worked now. As with the vectors it needs a raster file with metadata – didn’t find any info whether it was needed or not.
