Hey folks, I want to add a monthly free item as a marketing tactic. The customer would need to go into the shop and go thru the checkout process like a regular purchase, but it would be for $0. The idea being that once they’ve gone thru the purchase process in my shop, they’d be more likely to buy again.
I tried to do this on my own before bothering you guys here, but couldn’t work it out.
I set a new “FREE VECTOR” License for $0 and checked that it had to be manually set on a per-item basis. I went into one item and played with the “Licenses” section halfway down the page. I managed to get it to at least show up in the product page pulldown menu (it’s still there at https://www.clipartman.com/product/plus-size-black-woman/).
But that License option wouldn’t show up pre-populated as the default, even though I set it to that a few times. Also, when I select it in the pulldown, it says “<span style=”font-family: inherit; font-style: inherit; color: #272727;”>Sorry, this product is unavailable. Please choose a different combination.</span>” But the product is available, it’s an item that’s already been in my Symbio Media.
So what is the solution here? This is something I’m going to do with a different image every month.
