If somebody buys from my site and uses a gmail email, all the emails go to spam folder in gmail account.
Any way to fix that?
Hi Valentin,
This is quite normal behavior if you have not organized your outgoing mail stuff. Although this guide is for cPanel, it is control panel independent:
https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/CKB/How+to+Keep+your+Email+Out+of+the+Spam+Folder
Mainly this involves setting up correct DKIM and SPF records in your DNS settings. Once setup, test, and it will likely fix the issue. If it does not, you may want to use a third party service for your transactional emails which is more complex to setup.
Hi Robin and thank you!
I have read the documentation you provided but it was over my head. I didn’t know where to go, what to do…
A support guy from hosting gave me specific instructions on what to do on cloudflare. It was DMARC and SPF, I already had DKIM.
