Does anyone enjoy editing either in photoshop, illustrator or whatever? If so I would like to suggest a game. Person 1 (ie me) posts an image, say no more that 1000 px on longest side and gives a closing date/time a few days ahead.
Participants, using their imagination and/or skills edit that image either to improve or change it and then the poster picks a winner who then posts the next picture and chooses the next winner etc etc.
Rules are simple: –
Images only to be used for the purposes of this game and in this forum.
Only use images/elements for adding to edit to which you hold the copyright/have created yourself.
The person posting the image can post an edit but cannot pick themselves as the winner 🙂 .
No copyright is transferred.
It’s just for practice/fun.We do this on another forum I am on, some people try and bring the best out of the picture(or pictures if more than one included), others add monsters or incorporate them into other things
Just in case you would like to have a go at this here is an image to start
Closing time is approximately 17.00hrs GMT Friday ( time here currently 11.45 Tuesday)http://kerioakimaging.com - trying to reopen

This is not an imaginative edit, just some tonal manipulations to bring a little contrast to to the scene.

November 12, 2013 at 8:40 pm #7342This is fun! I’m going to set it up in blender and see about rendering something into it. Very good idea.
November 12, 2013 at 10:22 pm #7343I’m not really a landscape photographer but here is my go.

November 16, 2013 at 8:00 am #7352Thank you all for entering (including Shelma who managed to disqualify herself 🙂 ) and my apologies for being late – no excuses other than I totally forgot, which might have been helped by having an emergency dental appointment to redo a root-canal filling which I managed to demolish!
Honourable mentions to Steve, Cascoly and Tim for their introduction of new elements into the picture but in this instance I judge
Mark – third place
Russell – second place with his black and white
……but first place goes to
Jo Ann
with her gentle edit which I feel really draws the eye to the mountains
I look forward to seeing what you can produce for us to manipulate now Jo Ann
