EXIF meta data gets lost when uploaded through Symbiostock?

Hi!
When I upload an image directly into a new article, i can access the meta data – for example $imgmeta[‘image_meta’][‘camera’] –– but when I upload an image through Symbiostock that meta data seems to be stripped off.

I tried turnung “Save Metadata in Images” on in the Settings of Symbiostock – but that didnt fix it. Is there a way so Symbiostock would write the meta data (EXIF) into the database so they could be accesed later?
