My test purchases by credit card and Paypal were finally all working, now suddenly I’m getting this message in all of my emailed product download links:
“This is not your download link. Go to homepage”
Why is this happening?? How do I fix this? Please help ASAP —

https://www.clipartman.comMay 6, 2016 at 9:44 am #26572Hey guys, thanks for the input – actually as it turns out, it was because I had set up a new account and made purchases under that account; apparently, Woocommerce deals with delivering download links from registered account purchases differently than purchases made as a Guest, which seems odd to me.
I will post this also on another thread, but does anyone know the deal here? It seems as though the emailed links don’t work if you have an account and make a purchase, you need to download only from your Account page?
If that’s the case, why send the link in the email in the first place if it doesn’t work?
Furthermore, when a customer clicks that link, it doesn’t say “You need to go to your Account page to download”, but rather gives a rude, confusing and useless “<span style=”color: #272727; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 28.8px; background-color: #fbfbfb;”>“This is not your download link. Go to homepage”</span><span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>” message, so the purchaser still doesn’t know where to access his downloads.</span>
What’s the story here, am I the only one that thinks this is dumb?
Can I go in myself and edit that useless message to instead say “Thanks for your purchase! Please log in to your account” and provide the appropriate link?
I have yet to hear back from Woocommerce support on this question. Does anyone know what the proper official procedure is for getting your downloads when buying as a registered account holder, as opposed to buying as a guest?
