Countable error on local xampp setup [resolved]

I am getting the following error in my local xampp setup.

Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in C:\xampp\htdocs\mwp\wp-content\themes\symbiostock-express\lib\cmb\init.php on line 746

I am thinking it may be the fact I am using a newer version of PHP but wanted to check.

Hi Greg – if it is not a compatible PHP version, then it could be because of that. Either way, unless it is causing a problem with the website, I suggest you ignore it. If it is, I suggest you move to a compatible version of PHP.

Thanks, I though it might be that. I will have to setup an older version of xampp

In relation to this and just curious, how often is Symbiostock updated to the later versions of PHP and WooCommerce?

Hi Greg – we do so as is necessary. As we do a lot of testing before release it takes time and resources to do it, and unless there are glaring upgrades waiting to be done, we generally don’t need to.
