    Hi everyone!

I’m a little bit confused about adding my website (http://www.smoothstock.com) to Symbiostock network. After I uploaded a few photos on it, I checked on http://www.symbiostock.com to see if they appear. After this I activated “Use Symbiostock Network” from symbiostock menu, complete all requested fields from there and also updated my Public Network Info. At this moment I still do not see any of my pictures through the network…

Then I read that I should add 10 links from other websites in order to connect with them, to be honest I’m a little bit confused…
Should I browse the network and see with what website my page is “compatible” in therms of images or I should choose random 10 websites? Whats the idea? And also the question, why only 10, why not all of them, the entire network? Am I missing something?

    Thanks you,
    Adrian

Activating the network says you want to be part of the network, not using your site as a stand alone shop. After you activated it you can choose ten sites you would like to network with directly … some think it’s better to have similar content, some decide to choose sites that offer something you don’t have in your own portfolio. You can add a site by downloading the symbiocard of the site you wish to network with directly and upload it to one of your ten network slots.
Ajt will add you to symbiostock.info as soon as he gets aware of your site I guess, same with Steve who also provides a centralized search engine .

    Hi Adrian!

Symbiostock.info is collecting adresses of all new sites, but it doesn’t index them automatically. I prefer to review them first to be sure, that they are valid Symbiostock sites 🙂
    I added your site already.

    Welcome!
I’ve added you to the global search at http://symbiostock-search.com

To help you find network partners, you can find other sites by specialty, focus or promoted keywords at
    http://cascoly.com/symbio/list.asp?list=72

In addition, any site that adds http://cascoly-images.com/pix to their network will receive active links in reports such as http://cascoly.com/symbio/list.asp?list=71

Also, be sure to edit your profile so that your site appears as part of your signature, making it easy for anyone reading the forum to get to your site

If you check the box on the Symbiostock (bee) network settings tab that says use the Global search if there are no results on your site, you’ll let your buyers have access to the Global search every time they search, if it’s needed. And you can add it as a network partner if you want (I like the no results way to connect to it)

I picked styles of work that are similar to mine for my network partners and didn’t worry whether or not the partner could reciprocate – some of the earlier sites already had partners but I thought they were a good fit so I added them to my site.

Think what a buyer might want and give them connections that are likely to be helpful was my overall approach
